Abstract: Se presenta una cabeza de registro de chorro de tinta capaz de separar o bien conectar tanques de tinta a partir de la cabeza o con dicha cabeza, que comprende un sustrato de dispositivo de registro que tiene una pluralidad de dispositivos de registro para descargar la tinta, un dispositivo de conexiones para proporcionar señales eléctricos de registro el sustrato de dispositivo de registro, un miembro de suministro de tinta para suministrar tinta al sustrato de dispositivo de registro, y un miembro de filtro para remover partículas de polvo o similares en la tinta. Esta unidad de registro se proporciona con todas las funciones de descarga de tinta, y conectada a un miembro de sujecion que tiene solamente la funcion de sujetar y fijar los tanques de tinta. Con la estructura arreglada de esta forma, ya no es necesario conectar vías de suministro de tinte como en la técnica convencional, eliminando así los miembros de sellado. El numero de partes es menor, y es posible llevar a cabo una revision de las cabezas solamente de conformidad con las unidades de registro, lo que contribuye significativamente a la simplificacion de la fabricacion y proporciona unas cabezas de alta confiabilidad a costos menores.

Abstract: A seal rubber for use in print heads, ink jet printing apparatuses, or the like that enables print heads or the like to be appropriately manufactured while preventing the seal rubbers from sticking mutually, is provided. More specifically, a seal rubber (H1800) provided in a joint section between a print head and an ink tank has a roughened surface for an appropriate surface roughness. Thus, even when a parts feeder is used to supply a large number of mixed seal rubbers during manufacture of print heads, the seal rubbers can be prevented from sticking mutually and can be properly separated for supply.

Abstract: An ink tank is to be held detachably on a tank holder provided with a movable lever having a first engaging pawl to engage with a first engagement hole provided for one side wall of the tank holder, and a second engaging pawl to engage with a second engagement hole provided for side wall opposite to the one side wall having the first engagement hole of the tank holder. For this ink tank, the distance S between the outer side face of the base portion of the movable lever of the ink tank and the leading end of the second engaging pawl is set to be larger than the distance between the inner wall faces of the side wall having the first engagement hole of the tank holder and the side wall having the second engagement hole. With the structure thus arranged, unless the ink tank is kept in the normal posture, the ink tank is not allowed to enter the tank holder, hence enabling the user to recognize it easily and prompt him to operate the installation of the ink tank correctly.

Abstract: An ink jet recording head capable of separating or coupling ink tanks from or with the head comprises a recording device substrate having a plurality of recording devices thereon for discharging ink, a wiring device for giving electrical recording signals to the recording device substrate, an ink supply member for supplying ink to the recording device substrate, and a filter member for removing dust particles or the like in ink. This recording unit is provided with all the functions of discharging ink, and coupled with a holder member having only the function of holding and fixing ink tanks.
