Abstract: A water-based ink composition is described. The ink composition contains a pigment and a polymer latex. The polymer latex may be a polymeric (polyamino) enamine latex or a mixture of a polymeric (polyamino) enamine latex and an acetoacetoxy-functional polymer latex. The inks are particularly useful as laminating and surface-printing inks. Methods of printing are also described.
