    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate type heat exchanger which comprises a small number of components and can be fabricated and assembled at low cost and moreover has a high heat exchanging function. SOLUTION: A plate 4, wherein recesses and protrusions are formed and an opening 7 is provided on each of the opposite ends thereof, is superposed on another plate 4 to form a heat exchange element 2. A plurality of elements 2 are stacked one on another to form the plate type heat exchanger. The plate 4 has contact parts 9, 6a, of 1-10 mm, on the peripheral edge of the plate and the opening 7, respectively, for contact with another plate, and each of the contact parts is inclined at an angle α, β of about 1-8 deg. with respect to the contact surface. If two plates are stacked, only the peripheral edges of the plates and openings contact with one another, and if forces are applied onto the plates until the recesses and protrusions contact with one another, the peripheries of the plates and the contact parts of the openings are brought into surface contact, and the peripheries of the plates and the contact parts of the openings are soldered to one another to form a single body.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical multiple effect absorption refrigerating machine whose thermal efficiency is good with less variation of a refrigerating capacity and no deterioration of performance of a low temperature heat exchanger. SOLUTION: A multiple effect absorption refrigerating machine comprises at least a high temperature regenerator GH and a low temperature regenerator GL, a weak solution pump P1 for feeding weak solution from an absorber A to the high temperature regenerator and a strong solution pump P3 provided in a strong solution passage for connecting the low temperature regenerator GL to the inlet of the low temperature heat exchanger. The weak solution pump and the strong solution pump are provided with rotating speed adjusters 21 and 22 for adjusting rotating speed and a sensor 20 for detecting the pressure of the high temperature regenerator for controlling the adjustment of the rotating speed. A multiple effect means a double effect or a triple effect. The sensor for detecting the pressure can be replaced by detecting the differential pressure between the high temperature regenerator and the low temperature regenerator, the differential pressure between the high temperature regenerator and an intermediate temperature regenerator or the differential pressure between the high temperature regenerator and the absorber, or a physical quantity associated with pressure.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a triple effect absorption refrigeration machine capable of reducing corrosion by effectively using heat and lowering solution temperature of a high temperature regenerator. SOLUTION: In a triple effect absorption refrigeration machine having as primary components a high temperature regenerator 4, a medium temperature regenerator 5, a lower temperature regenerator 6, a condenser 3, an absorber 2, an evaporator 1 and heat exchangers 7-12, having these components connected with each other by solution piping and having refrigerant piping and cooling water piping 16, 17 disposed in the condenser and the absorber for cooling interiors, the cooling water pipes 16, 17 are connected so as to first introduce cooling water into the condenser 3 and then into the absorber 2. The absorber 2 and the evaporator 1 are respectively divided into two stages consisting of a high stage and a low stage and pairs of them are installed in individual shells and piping can be connected in such a manner that firstly strong solution is introduced into a low stage absorber and then into a high stage absorber, and the cooling water is first introduced into a high stage evaporator and then into a low stage evaporator.

SOLUTION: Water is used as refrigerant while salts water solution used as absorbent medium, high-temperature and low-temperature regenerators, a condenser, an absorber, and an evaporator are main components, a high-temperature condenser is provided on the heating side of a low-temperature regenerator GL, and a heated side of a low-temperature absorber AL and a heating side of a high-temperature evaporator GH are connected together, thus constituting a refrigeration cycle. Here, the condensed refrigerant is guided to a low-temperature evaporator EL after guided to a high-temperature evaporator EH, a refrigerant water added with the absorbent medium is used for the low-temperature evaporator EL, and a refrigerant circulation channel 23 of the high-temperature evaporator EH and a high-temperature absorber AH output piping are connected with a piping 26 comprising a valve 15, or, an adjusting valve 16 is provided on a piping 24 from the high-temperature evaporator EH to the low-temperature evaporator EL, the low-temperature evaporator EL is provided with a detector 18, and the adjusting valve 16 is adjusted that the liquid level is almost constant.

Here, at the main refrigerating machine, water refrigerant added with an absorbent medium is used for the evaporator, a refrigerant tank T is provided on a refrigerant flow channel 10 from a condenser C1 to the evaporator E1 , and the lower part of the refrigerant tank T and a solution cycle side 5 are connected with a flow channel 20 comprising a valve 22, or, an adjusting valve 23 is provided on a flow channel 19 from the refrigerant tank T to the evaporator while the evaporator E1 is provided with a detector 24 for detecting refrigerant level for adjusting the adjusting valve 23 for almost constant liquid level of the evaporator.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect dropping of a heat insulating material constituting a shielding member in the early stage by disposing a temperature fuse, as means for detecting dropping of the heat insulating material, at a specified position of the shielding member. SOLUTION: A temperature fuse 20 is fixed to the inner circumferential surface of the casing 17 of a shielding member 7'. The temperature fuse 20 is made by coating a metal wire, e.g. an aluminum wire or a tin wire, being blown out at a specified temperature with a heat resistance insulating tube. Combustion gas from a burner 11 passes through a flue to strike against the shielding member 7'. During normal operation, a heat insulating maternal 16 of the shielding member 7' shields the combustion gas and the temperature fuse 20 does not reach the blow-out point. It the heat insulating material 16 drops, the combustion gas heats up the temperature fuse 20 which is thereby blown out. Blow-out of the temperature fuse 20 is detected by the controller for high temperature reheater and the operation thereof is interrupted before delivering an alarm.

There are provided two hot water heaters W, WA, one heater W communicates with a vapor part of the high temperature regenerator GH and the other heater WA communicates with a vapor section of the absorber A. It is possible to prevent the temperature of the absorber from being increased with the hot water heater WA communicating with the absorber A and further to stop the operation of each of the cooling water pump and the cold water pump.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorption freezer in which a filling material in a cooling tower is not deformed even when cooling water of high temperature is produced within a freezer and in addition the cooling water can be kept at a suitable temperature. SOLUTION: An absorption freezer is made such that there are provided at least an absorber A, an evaporator E, regenerator devices GH, GL, a condenser C, and solution heat exchangers XH, XL. A freezing cycle is formed by connecting these device and at the same time there are provided a cooling tower CW for cooling the cooling water and a cooling water pump WP for circulating the cooling water. A circulating passage is formed by connecting the cooling tower CW, the absorber A, the condenser C and the cooling water pump WP. In this case, the cooling tower CW has, from its upper part, a water sprinkler device 6 and a filling layer 7 filled with filling material. A water tank 8 is placed at its lower part, a branch point is arranged in a pipe 4 to be connected to the water sprinkler device 6 in the cooling water circulating passage. There is provided a cooling water bypass pipe 5 for bypassing the cooling water around the water sprinkler device 6 and guiding it to a lower part of the filling layer 7 in the cooling tower CW and at the same time the cooling water circulating passage is provided with a temperature sensor T1 . There are provided control mechanisms 9 and V1 for operating the bypassing pipe when the temperature from the temperature sensor T1 exceeds and is higher than a predetermined temperature.
