PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispersion composition having superior dispersion stability, with the sedimentation of titanium black particles is suppressed, and to provide a method of producing the composition. SOLUTION: The method of producing the dispersion composition includes the steps of dispersing a mixed liquid containing titanium black; a first dispersant and a solvent; and further, adding a second dispersant to the mixed liquid obtained by the dispersion process and dispersing the liquid, wherein a dispersant having an acid value of 50 mgKOH/g or more is used for at least a part of the overall dispersant which includes the first dispersant and the second dispersant. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispersion composition suppressed in sedimentation of titanium black particles and excellent in dispersion stability, and to provide a production method thereof. SOLUTION: The method includes: a first dispersion step of subjecting a mixed liquid containing titanium black, a dispersant, propylene glycol monomethyl ether acetate, and at least one solvent selected from the group consisting of butyl acetate, 2-heptanone, ethyl 3-ethoxypropionate, cyclohexanone and propylene glycol monomethyl ether to a dispersion treatment without using a medium, wherein the content of the at least one solvent is ≥5 mass% based on the total content of the propylene glycol monomethyl ether acetate and the at least one solvent; and a second dispersion step of subjecting the dispersion liquid obtained by the first dispersion step to a dispersion treatment using a medium. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical member set in which manufacturing qualities and product qualities are improved when a first optical member having a certain thickness used as a cladding material of a second optical member, and to provide a solid-state imaging device using the optical member set.SOLUTION: The optical member set comprises a first optical member prepared by curing a curable resin composition and a second optical member covered with the first optical member. A water contact angle of a surface of the second optical component, which is in contact with the first optical component, is 70 to 97°; and a water contact angle of a surface of the first optical component, which is opposite to the side in contact with the second optical component, is 80 to 115°.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive transparent composition for a color filter of a solid state imaging device usable for manufacturing a color filter by which image formation may be performed with high quality and high sensitivity in an image sensor when the color filter used in the image sensor includes a white filter pixel with a side of approximately 1 μm; and a method for manufacturing a color filter of a solid state imaging device, a color filter of a solid state imaging device and a solid state imaging device using the same.SOLUTION: A photosensitive transparent composition for a color filter of a solid state imaging device, comprises (A) a polymerization initiator, (B) a polymerizable compound and (C) an alkali-soluble resin, and a cured film of the photosensitive transparent composition has a refractive index of 1.60 to 1.90 against light of a wavelength of 633 nm. The invention also provides a method for manufacturing a color filter of a solid state imaging device, a color filter of a solid state imaging device and a solid state imaging device using the photosensitive transparent composition.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymerizable composition having a high light-shielding property in an infrared region and high translucency in a visible light region, having a rectangular cross-sectional shape by alkali development, and capable of forming a pattern with superior durability (durability to a high temperature and a high humidity, and adhesion to a substrate); and to provide a polymerizable composition capable of suppressing development residue in a pattern formation on a copper surface.SOLUTION: This polymerizable composition includes (A) a polymerization initiator that is an acetophenone-based compound or an acylphosphine oxide compound, (B) a polymerizable compound, (C) at least either a tungsten compound and a metal boride, and (D) an alkali-soluble binder.
