    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an accurate image easy to look on the basis of the change following temp. data of incident infrared rays, in an infrared device wherein the infrared output from an optical scanning system is photoelectrically converted to an infrared image signal by an infrared detector and the high frequency component of the infrared image signal is cut off by a low-pass filter to display said signal on a display device, by providing a flat characteristic up to a required space frequency characteristic. CONSTITUTION:A high pass filter 5 having a frequency transmission characteristic reverse to the primary oblique frequency transmission characteristic of an optical scanning system and a secondary low-pass filter 6 constituted so as to have the approximation reverse characteristic of an SINC function wherein an amplitude characteristic is raised at a resonance point in highpass frequency so as to compensate the frequency transmission characteristic of the SINC function in an infrared detector 2 are subjected to two-stage cascade connection.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a calibration black body with emissivity improved by providing a groove whose depth size is several times its widthwise size between adjacent pyramids. CONSTITUTION:A calibration black body 30 has grooves 31 at positions between adjacent pyramids 21, that is at portions of recesses 23, while the grooves 31 are, when viewed from above, formed in a grid in X-and Y-directions. The groove 31 is 0.1 to 0.2mm in width and 0.5 to 1.0mm in depth which is approximately five times the width. Infrared rays 22-1 incident to a slope of the pyramid 21 are reflected three times while infrared rays 22-2 incident between the adjacent pyramids 21 enter the groove 31. Since the groove 31 is narrow and deep, the infrared rays 22-2 are reflected on one of sides 31b before reaching the bottom 31a then reflected on the bottom 31a, further reflected on the other side 31c, and then returned out of the groove 31. Therefore the calibration black body 30 has improved in emissivity as regards portions between the adjacent pyramids 21 thereby providing high emissivity.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To utilize the directional property of a radar antenna to extend the service range and to attain the privacy of service by providing a radar transmission part with a voice converting means and providing a radar reception part with a voice demodulating means and switching a switch to make the radar function and the service function possible. CONSTITUTION:The voice output of a microphone 4 is inputted to a modulated voltage generating circuit 5 to generate a voltage corresponding to the voice level, and an FM modulated wave is formed through a switch 6 by a VCO 7, and an FM-modulated pulse signal is generated by a PIN diode switch 91 and is transmitted to the station of the other party from a radar antenna 11. This is received by an antenna and is inputted to a mixer 12 and is tuned by changing the output voltage of a frequency control circuit 15. The intermediate frequency signal is detected by a frequency discriminator 14-1 and becomes a low frequency signals by a sampling and holding circuit 14-2 and has high frequency components eliminated by an audio filter 21 and reproduced as a voice by a speaker 19.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To simplify a structure and to reduce the size and weight of a device by delaying the outputs of plural sensor elements of respective units through mutually different number of stages of charge transfer means and summing the outputs by an adder. CONSTITUTION:Infrared sensor elements 4-1 placed on a substrate 10 are separately amplified (13a-13d) so as to be used as the 1st-4th channels sequentially from above. The 1st-3rd channels are inputted into charge transfer means 14a'-14c' that are delay means respectively. The means 14a'-14c' are weighted by three-, two- and one-stage charge transfer elements BBDs so as to be transferred and delayed in accordance with clock pulses from clock pulse generating means 50. The outputs O1-O3 from the means 14a-14c and the output O4 from the amplifier 13d are summed by the adder 16 to output an added output signal E0 from a terminal 202 to the main body of an infrared video device. In such a manner, the delay at the means 14a'-14c' is executed surely, while liminating LPF which was essential heretofore and only one kind of clock pulses is sufficient resulting in simplified structure and reduction in costs.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve a speed of operating a robot by setting an optical axis of each sensor to agree with particularly the center axis of a robot hand so as to eliminate necessity for calculating coordinate transformation, relating to an intelligent robot having the sense of vision. CONSTITUTION:In a robot device provided with a hand 3 having a plurality of fingers 2 in the point end of an arm 1 of a robot, a light branch synthesizing element 5 is provided in the hand 3, to branch incident/outgoing light synthesized in an optical path 4 with a finger center axis of the hand 3 serving as the optical axis. The robot device is constituted by providing a distance sensor 7 to measure a distance to an object 6 through the light branch synthesizing element 5 and by providing an optical sensor 8 to acquire an image of the object 6 through the light branch synthesizing element 5, to control a position and an attitude of the hand 3 to also autonomously perform a function of holding the object 6 by driving a plurality of the fingers 2, based on a distance measuring result of the distance sensor 7 and on a processing result of the image by the optical sensor 8.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable the removal of clutters regardless of processing time by calculating a weighted mean between a video data of a distance before and after a central sample distance and previous video data to determine a difference from the central sample distance. CONSTITUTION:Video voltage signals of sample distances R1-r, R1 and R1+r are converted 1 into digital from analog and a signal of the center distance R1 alone is stored into a memory 31. Signals of other distances R1-r and R1+r are sent to a weighted mean section 21 to determine a means with data of the distances R1-r and R1+r by previous transmission pulses. Here, a larger weighting is applied to the data newer than the previous data to make them sensitive to effect of new transmission reflected waves. Then, a subtraction 51 of data is performed between the memory 31 and the mean section 21, the results are stored into a memory 6 and undergoes a D/A conversion 7 to be outputted. The mean section 21, the memory 31 and the subtracter 51 are arranged in plurality to take out a plurality of sample distances and a weighted mean thereof is calculated to take out a video signal. This enables the removal of a video voltage varying slowly about the sample distance R1 as center.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a continuous wave having the continuity of a phase by giving an address to a read-out address of a comparison memory so that phases may accord with each other before and after repeated reading when the repeat reading from the comparison memory is conducted. CONSTITUTION:The number of addresses before repetition which are obtained during a period between memory triggers t2 and t3 is inputted to an address counter 30 for correction by the memory trigger t3, and the number of addresses after repetition which are obtained during a period between memory triggers t3 and t4 is inputted to the address counter 30 for correction by the memory trigger. In the address counter 30 for correction, a difference thetaan-thetabn+1 between phases before and after the aforesaid repetition is computed as a difference between the numbers of addresses, and an address of an address generator 12b is corrected at the next point t5 of repetition of reading in accordance with the result of the computation. According to this constitution, a phase at a point R of repetition can be given continuity by one correction at least even when the phase has no continuity.
