    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and evenly eliminate static electricity of charged resin hollow containers, and to improve the conveying efficiency of the hollow containers. SOLUTION: This method for static elimination of at least one resin hollow container 3 comprises a conveying process of conveying the hollow containers 3 along a guide part 4, and an X-ray irradiation process for irradiating the hollow containers 3 with X-rays when the containers 3 are located in the prescribed position. When each hollow container 3 is conveyed along the guide part 4 and located in the prescribed position to be irradiated with X-rays, the X-rays penetrate the hollow container 3. Here, the gas near an internal surface 3c and an external surface 3c of the hollow container 3 is ionized to generate ions independently of the shapes of the charged hollow container 3, so that electricity is eliminated in batch and evenly from the internal surface 3c and the external surface 3b.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray tube and a X-ray generator with it allowing prevention of an attenuation in X-ray intensity and further certain prevention of damage to an output window. SOLUTION: This X-ray tube 8 comprises a bulb 9 having an opening end 50 and a cathode 16 inside it; an output window 13 disposed toward the opening end 50 side of the bulb 9; an output window holding part 12 which is provided to the opening end 50 of the bulb 9 and holds the output window 13; a target 14 which is provided on an inner face of the output window 13 toward the bulb 9 side and emits X-rays generated by irradiation of an emitted electron beam from the cathode 16 through the output window 13; and a partition part 47 at a facing position to the output window 13 toward an outer face side of the output window 13. The partition part 47 has plural partitioned openings 47a for passing the emitted X-ray from the output window 13.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electron detector on which a sample for observation can be placed directly. SOLUTION: A conversion member 12 having a metallic thin plate (or thin film) 12b is mounted in an opening 2a in a bottomed cylinder 2, and a microchannel plate MCP and an anode 10 are placed in the bottomed cylinder 2 via insulative annular spacers 4, 6, 8. When the thin plate 12b, the microchannel plate MCP, and the anode 10 are biased to predetermined potential and a sample OBJ is directly placed on the thin plate 12b and scanned by an electron beam EB from above, the microchannel plate MCP detects secondary electrons and ultraviolet or X-rays emitted from the thin plate 12b and subjects them to secondary electron multiplication, and a detection signal is produced in the anode 10.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide an image forming device which does not exert any adverse influence on surrounding environments when it is used and which is excellent in durability in use and safety. CONSTITUTION: This image forming device is constituted by forming a photoreceptive layer on the outer surface of an endless base plate drum 13 which is freely rotated, and providing an electrifying means 11, an exposure part 20, a developing part 3, a transfer part 4, a fixing part 5 and a cleaning means 12 around the drum 13. The electrifying means 11 is provided with an X-ray generating means for electrification which electrolytically dissociates air near the photoreceptive layer by the radiation of X-ray and an electric field impressing means conducting gas ion generated by the electrolythic dissociation to the surface of the photoreceptive layer by electric field, and the cleaning means 12 is provided with an X-ray generating means for erasion which ionizes the air near the photoreceptive layer where coloring particulates remain by the radiation of the X-ray and generates carrier in the photoreceptive layer.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a charge distribution measuring apparatus for particle in which the measurement of charge distribution for zero point correction can be carried out accurately. CONSTITUTION: Particles 45 are fed downward toward a measuring cell 4 and subjected to an electric field in the way of running. Shift of the particle from a predetermined direction or the shifted moving speed is then detected and a charge distribution is measured based on the detection output. In such apparatus for measuring the charge distribution of particle, the passage of particle is irradiated with soft X-rays by means of a neutralization unit 40 at the time of supplying particles thus producing positive/negative ions and electrons with high concentration in the passage. When the neutralized particles are running, the charge distribution is measured without applying the electric field. The center of a charge distribution thus obtained is matched with a zero point.
