    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation detector with which the user can feel actually the intensity of detected radiation as the vibration corresponding to the intensity and, in addition, which can prevent the occurrence of faults caused by the vibration of a radiation detecting section or control section.
    SOLUTION: Since a vibrating section 8 which is controlled for operation by means of the control section 5 vibrates in accordance with the intensity of radiation when a radiation detecting probe 2 detects the radiation, the user can quickly and surely feel actually the intensity of the detected radiation as the vibration corresponding to the intensity. When the vibrating section 8 vibrates, the vibration of the section 8 is absorbed by a vibration absorbing member and is hardly transmitted to an control grip 1. Therefore, the occurrence of faults caused by the vibration of the radiation detecting probe 2 or control section 5 can be prevented.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radioactive detector having full detection efficiency. SOLUTION: In this radioactive detector 10, first and second light-emitting plates 2j and 2k respectively consist of an amorphous carbon and are made to electrically have continuity with a semiconductor radioactive detecting element 1. A bias voltage is applied to the element 1 via the amorphous carbons of both of the plates 2j and 2k. When a plurality of the radioactive detectors 10 are laminated in the thickness direction of the laminated detectors 10, radioactive rays which are incident in the laminated detectors 10 can be efficiently detected by the whole of the plurality of the detectors 10, and the radioactive detection efficiency of each radioactive detector can be raised.

An array 4A or 4B with the plurality of units 10 can detect the incidence position of radiation in a Y direction, and an array assembly 4 where the arrays 4A and 4B are combined can detect the incidence position of radiation in an XY plane.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation detector which is capable of accurately detecting radiations. SOLUTION: When a window material 3 is irradiated with radiation in a state in which a CdTe substrate 2s is biased, radiation is made to emit on the semiconductor substrate 2s through the window material 3, and a radiation detection current flows between terminals 7c and 7b. A detection element 2 is cooled down by a cooling device 4, whereby the detection element 2 is increased in S/N ratio, the cooling device 4 itself generates noises, and noises emitted from the cooling device 4 are made to superpose on signals outputted from the detection element 2 propagating in the air. This radiation detector is equipped with a conductor 5, that is interposed between the detection element 2 and the cooling device 4 and kept at a grounding potential, and the conductor 5 functions as a noise shield that absorbs noises, so that the detection element 2 is improved drastically in S/N ratio.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning apparatus to clean a gas while removing static electricity accumulated on a filter. SOLUTION: This gas apparatus is composed of a box body 50 having a leading inlet 11 and a discharging outlet 12, a gas current producing means 40 to produce gas current toward the discharging outlet from the leading inlet, an x-ray irradiating means 20 to irradiate x-rays to the gas flowing in the box body, and a filter 30 installed in the box body. A gas which is introduced into the box body is ionized by irradiating x-rays from the x-ray irradiating means to the gas. The ionized gas flows along the flowing path in the box body and reaches the filter 30. The ionized gas passes the filter, so that an ion and an electric charge in the filter are coupled and static electricity accumulated on the filter can be eliminated.
