Abstract: The application discloses a portable device (1) for processing continuous monitoring data indicative of an analyte in a bodily fluid, comprising a data interface device (3), configured to receive a stream of continuous monitoring data from a body worn sensor, the continuous monitoring data being indicative of an analyte in a bodily flu id, a storage device (5), and a control device (4) wherein the control device (4) is configured to switch, according to a predefined operation condition, between a first and a second mode of operation during a sensor session of the body worn sensor, the first mode operation comprising providing video data indicative of the continuous monitoring data for outputting the video data by a display device (6), and the second mode of operation comprising storing the continuous monitoring data in the storage device (5) and blocking displaying of the continuous monitoring data on the display device. Further, a medical monitoring system, a method for processing continuous monitoring data, and a computer program product are disclosed.

Abstract: The invention relates to a hand-held device for measuring an analyte concentration in a sample of a body liquid having a display means (3) for displaying measured values; a measured-value storage for storing measured values; a measuring unit for generating mea-sured values through measurements of the analyte concen-tration in samples of a body liquid; a clock for supplying the date and hour of the day; a control unit for generating measured value datasets, each containing a measured value supplied by the measuring unit as well as the date and hour of the measurement by which the measured value was obtained, and for writing them into the measured-value storage; and operating elements (4) that can be actuated by the user to set the clock, in which case the control unit will generate a time-correction dataset indicating the amount and direction of the setting effected. It is provided accord-ing to the invention that the control unit writes time-cor-rection datasets into the measured-value storage so that a chronologically ordered sequence is generated containing time-correction datasets and measured value datasets.
