When a sliding door (3) as a plate-like object is moved in a front and rear direction from a closed position to an opening preparation position, a rotatable rail (20) rotates from a horizontal lying position to a vertical standing position about a rotation axis (L1). When the sliding door is in the opening preparation position, a roller (40) of the sliding door (3) rides on a running track (25b) of the rotatable rail (20). When the sliding door (3) is further moved from the opening preparation position to an open position, the roller (40) transfers from the running track (25b) to an auxiliary track (26) of an adjacent rotatable rail (20). The rotatable rail (20) is biased toward the standing position by an elastic force of a torsion spring (18) and maintained in the standing position by an arm (13). This allows the sliding door (3) to be returned to the opening preparation position.

An ultraviolet-irradiating device of an optical disk which makes effective use of electric power and has a long life, and an ultraviolet-irradiating method to an optical disk are provided. An ultraviolet-irradiating device 14 of an optical disk for irradiating ultraviolet curable resin A applied to a disk substrate D with ultraviolet rays from an ultraviolet-irradiating unit 143 to cure the ultraviolet curable resin A, wherein an ultraviolet light-emitting diode R is used as an ultraviolet light source of the ultraviolet-irradiating unit 143. According to the present invention, since the ultraviolet light-emitting diode R is used as an ultraviolet light source, lights in a visible region and an infrared region are not emitted like a conventional xenon lamp, that is, only ultraviolet rays required for curing the ultraviolet curable resin can be irradiated, so that power consumption required for light emission of the light source can be reduced. Further, since a life of the ultraviolet light-emitting diode R is long, the number of replacement times is reduced, which improves operation rate.

The invention is to permit a bushing main body of rubber elastomer to be adhered to a bar member while retaining a necessary contact pressure for adhering and after adhering, to permit a further compressive force to be imparted. The bushing main body (10) having a bore (11), through which the bar member (B) passes, and a bracket (20) holding the former are longitudinally split into two, respectively, the resulting split rubber bodies (10a)(10b) are vulcanization bonded to inner peripheral surfaces of the resulting half bracket members (20a)(20b). The inside diameter (D1) of both split rubber bodies as molded is made smaller than the outside diameter (D2) of the bar member, and inner peripheral surfaces (11a)(11b) at the bore are formed to be eccentric on mutually opposite sides. While pinching the bar member by both split rubber bodies, both half bracket members interposing a spacer (30) are locked together to compress the split rubber bodies thereby to adhere the peripheral surfaces at the bore to the outer peripheral surface of the bar member, and after the spacer is removed, both half members are locked so as to butt contact with each other thereby further compressing both split rubber bodies in mutually opposing directions.

A cam hole (71) is formed in a forward end part of the arm part (53). A shaft part (72) movably engageable with the cam hole (71) through a roller (73) is disposed at a forward end part of a seat frame (41). The cam hole (71), the shaft part (72) and the roller (73) constitute a positive motion mechanism (70) for causing a seat frame (41) to be tilted in accordance with the turning motion of the arm part (53).

A chip inductor is made up of a coiled conducting wire and a magnetic member which is formed by sintering and in which the coiled conducting wire is embedded. Both end portions of the coiled conducting wire are exposed to both end surfaces of the magnetic member. External electrodes are formed with conducting thin films and are connected to respective end portions of the coiled conducting wire. An inorganic material is interposed in a clearance between winds of both end portions of the conducting wire and external surfaces of the magnetic member and a clearance between adjoining winds of the conducting wire.

A voice switch in a hands-free communications system performs selective attenuation with respect to respective voice signals being transmitted and received in respective transmitting and receiving paths, the transmitted voice signal having been converted from an audible voice by a microphone connected to the transmitting path and the received voice signal having been converted by a loudspeaker to an audible voice output. A detector selectively detects a currently transmitted voice signal at a normal level, a currently received voice signal at a normal level, and drops in the respective levels thereof to nil levels and provides corresponding outputs to a controller. When one of the transmitted and received voice signals is of a normal level and the detector newly detects the other thereof at a normal level, the controller selectively attenuates that other, newly-detected normal level voice signal. Further, when a current voice signal of a normal level drops to a nil level and, within a selected time interval, resumes its normal level and also the other voice signal is newly detected at a normal level, the controller preferentially attenuates the newly detected voice signal such that the resumed normal level voice signal is preferentially processed.

A timer starts when a first sensor detecting "close" of a switching cover and a second sensor detecting "open" of the switching cover are both OFF at the start of a read out operation. When one of said first and second sensors is turned on before the timer expires, an error is not displayed and the flow proceeds to a subsequent process. When first and second sensors are still OFF when the timer expires, an error is displayed indicating that the switching cover is in a defective open state.

A speaking apparatus having a handfree conversation function, provided with an echo canceler which can cancel the echo caused by direct acoustic coupling between a speaker and a microphone positioned in a system having a casing, a ground surface and a speech switching circuit. In the apparatus, the amount of insertion attenuation of the transmitted and received signal is set with an upper limit of the amount of attenuation sufficient for cancelling the echo caused by the indirect acoustic coupling determined by the location where the speaking apparatus is used. In addition, the echo canceler and the speech switching circuit share optimum functions to obtain an excellent speaking quality apparatus with an inexpensive and small sized processing circuit.
