PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an anionic surfactant slurry having a reduced content of impurities in the surfactant slurry in a small state of energy burden and facility load (simplification of facilities). SOLUTION: In this method for producing an anionic surfactant slurry having a reduced content of impurities from an anionic surfactant slurry containing impurities, (A) the anionic surfactant slurry containing impurities is brought into contact with at least one or more inert gases under reduced pressure, (B) the contact product obtained by bringing the anionic surfactant slurry containing impurities into contact with the inert gas is expanded in volume, the impurities are accompanied by the inert gas and separated from the anionic surfactant slurry and (C) the anionic surfactant slurry having a reduced content of impurities is recovered.

SOLUTION: The method for producing a dentifrice powder includes a process 1 for mixing 100 parts by mass of a 1-4C alcohol with 0-200 parts by mass of water and 6-110 parts by mass of a non-cationic germicide to give a mixed solution A, a process 2 for mixing an aqueous solution of a water-soluble polymer, obtained by mixing 100 parts by mass of water with 0.025-1 part by mass of a water-soluble polymer, with a water-insoluble inorganic binder and a water-insoluble powder material to give a slurry B and a process 3 for mixing the mixed solution A with the slurry B to give a slurry C. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the production process for sulfates and the production apparatus that permit the efficient reaction of the starting compound with SO3 gas in the tubular reactor without contamination of individual parts of the production apparatus and can produce the sulfated product with improved operability. SOLUTION: In the sulfation reaction process in which the thin layer flow of a compound to be sulfated is brought into cocurrent contact with an SO3 gas, an inert gas is fed between the thin layer flow and the SO3 gas flow thereby feeding the starting compound to be sulfated from its staying part, as the starting material is overflowed from the staying part to the inner wall of the reactor tube. This production apparatus is equipped with the tubular reactor, the starting compound feeder, the SO3 gas feeder and the inert gas feeder and has a mechanism that starting compound feeder can feed the compound into the inner wall of the reactor by its overflowing.

SOLUTION: (D) A primary alcohol (e.g. stearyl alcohol) of the formula (R1 and R2 are each H or a 1-24C alkyl) alone or mixed alcohol comprising two or more kinds of primary alcohols is subjected to heat condensation in the presence of (A) an alkaline substance (e.g. potassium hydroxide) or the component A and (B) a dehydrating catalyst (e.g. copper-nickel) and (C) an oxide consisting essentially of SO2 . Furthermore, a mineral oxide such as diatomaceous earth is especially used as the component C and the component C is preferably added in an amount of 0.001-1wt.% to the component D.
