Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sulky rice transplanter improved in working conditions through mitigating noise and vibration transmitted from a floor board to the driving section, having such a design that the floor board is connected via vibrationproofing rubbers to the frames of the self-propelled machine body. SOLUTION: A step for getting on/off and a rear wheel fender are fixed on the frames 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 29 of the self-propelled machine body and a floor board 13 is provided as a separate component from the step for getting on/off and the rear wheel fender and connected, via vibrationproofing rubbers 33, to the frames 22, 23, 28 of the self-propelled machine body. It is preferable that the vibrationproofing rubbers 33 be situated on the respective front and rear sides of the right and left end sides of the floor board 13 and the respective front and rear pairs of the vibrationproofing rubbers 33 on the right and left sides be provided in a mutually shifted manner in the transverse direction of the floor board 13.

SOLUTION: This takeout of a seedling in a transplanter is to proceed a takeout-claw 4 for seedlings against soil-stick seedlings 5 in a pot part 3 of a seedling tray 2, dash into the soil-stick seedlings 5, take out the pierced soil- stick seedling 5 by moving back the claw, change the attitude of the takeout- claw 4 for the seedlings in a downward facing attitude from the attitude facing to the seedling tray 2 to the attitude facing to a planting tube 43, remove the soil-stick seedling 5 from the takeout-claw 4 for seedlings and feed the seedling by falling it into the planting tube 43. The takeout-claw for seedlings is moved to a high speed in the first half and to a low speed in the latter half when the takeout-claw for seedlings is transferred from the attitude facing to the seedling tray to the attitude facing to the planting tube.

In the operation, a thrust starting position for the seedling taking out crawl 56 against the seedling soil C is made at one side in the vicinity of an opening edge of the pot part 40. When the seedling taking out crawl 56 is advanced to the thrust starting position, the crawl is moved forward so as to scoop up leaves C1 in the seedling soil C. When the seedling taking out crawl 56 is thrust from the thrust starting position toward the interior part of the pot part 40 in the depth direction and retreated from the pot part 40, the retreat completion position is made to form an approximately V-shaped loci of reciprocating motion composed of the one side of the pot part 40 and the opposite other side to take out/feed seedlings for a transplantar.
