The present invention relates to a method for setting the optimum transmission path for increasing energy efficiency in a wireless ad hoc network. More particularly, the present invention relates to setting an optimized data transmission path in a multi-hop data transmission environment in a wireless network comprising machine to machine (M2M) communication devices, which operate with limited energy, based on link information of the network, such as the position of a node in the network. And to this end, the present invention relates to a wireless M2M communication network protocol minimizing energy consumption by selecting the optimum transmission method for each of the hops from the following transmission methods: a single input single output (SISO) method; a virtual single input multiple output (V-SIMO) method; and a virtual multiple input multiple output (V-MIMO) method.

The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. In particular, the present invention relates to a method and device for performing the process of discovering neighbors for Wi-Fi P2P communication, the method including the steps of: checking at a first WFD P2P device whether there is a WFD P2P group in which participation is possible; performing, at the first WFD P2P device, the operation for participating in the WFD P2P group in which participation is possible, if there is a WFD P2P group in which participation is possible, or performing, at the first WFD P2P device, the operation for creating a new WFD P2P group or entering a sleep mode, if there is no WFD P2P group in which participation is possible, wherein the operation for participating in the WFD P2P group in which participation is possible includes the steps of receiving information about a neighbor list on a second WFD P2P device (or devices) within the WFD P2P group from a specific WFD P2P device that manages the WFD P2P group, and periodically transferring neighbor advertisement information on the first WFD P2P device to the specific WFD P2P device, after receiving the neighbor list.

The present invention provides a method for switching an operating channel of a device in a wireless personal area network (WPAN) system, and an apparatus therefor. Specifically, the method includes the steps of: setting an association with a first frequency band coordinator; receiving channel switching information from the first frequency band coordinator; channel switching to a second frequency-band channel using the received channel switching information; and setting an association with a second frequency band coordinator, wherein the channel switching information includes a residual time with a time limit which channel switches from a first frequency band to a second frequency band, an operating channel in the second frequency band, and a prearranged transmission time of a beacon frame in the operating channel in the second frequency band.

According to the disclosure of the present invention, a method of a Network Body Area Network (MBAN) master to control the channel defaulting of an MBAN terminal in an MBAN system is provided. The method includes: performing an association process with the MBAN terminal through a channel of a first frequency band; and transmitting control information for the channel initialization of the MBAN terminal to the MBAN terminal. The control information includes a channel defaulting timer, and a value of the channel defaulting timer indicates a time between the timing when the MBAN terminal cannot receive a signal from a channel of the first frequency band in use and the timing when the channel search of a second frequency band starts.

According to the present embodiment, a method for transmitting a packet for a WUR terminal comprising a main radio module and a WUR module in a wireless LAN system comprises the steps of: allowing an AP to transmit a multi-user wake-up packet (MU WUP) for a plurality of first WUR terminals associated with a first WUR channel among a plurality of WUR channels in a preset 20 MHz channel, wherein the MU WUP includes a legacy preamble modulated according to an OFDM scheme and a payload modulated according to an OOK scheme, the legacy preamble is transmitted on the basis of the 20 MHz channel for a third party terminal, the payload is transmitted on the basis of the first WUR channel, and the payload indicates that a main radio module included in each of the plurality of first WUR terminals enters an activated state; and allowing the AP to transmit a downlink data packet for at least one of the plurality of first WUR terminals.

The present invention relates to a method and device that may determine a service provided by a WiFi device to be connected before connecting a WiFi direct network. According to at least one embodiment of the present invention, if a service for an owner device of a wireless communication group is searched for in the process of searching for a service for the wireless communication group, there is the advantage that it is possible to more conveniently perform the service search process by obtaining supported service information on each device belonging to the group. In addition, if there is a currently unavailable service in the process of searching for the service for the wireless communication group, there is the advantage that it is possible to provide information highly necessary for a user to determine network establishment by further providing information on the unavailable service.

The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for performing wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi) peer-to-peer (P2P) communication and a device therefor, and the method comprises the steps of: receiving a first beacon message from an owner of a Wi-Fi P2P group; and confirming a plurality of slots which are formed between a time when the first beacon message is received and a time when a next second beacon message is received, by using the first beacon message, wherein each slot of the plurality of the slots corresponds to one service type, and in one or more slots corresponding to interested services among the plurality of the slots, a Wi-Fi P2P device performs an operation for Wi-Fi P2P communication, and in one or more slots corresponding to uninterested services among the plurality of slots, the Wi-Fi P2P device stands by in a sleep mode.

The disclosure of the present invention provides a method for a Medical Body Area Network (MBAN) to control, through a master, the channel switching of an MBAN terminal that uses a channel of a first frequency band in an MBAN system. The method includes: receiving information related to the use of each channel of a second frequency band from an MBAN controller; and transmitting information on a channel of the second frequency band that the MBAN terminal is to switch on the basis of the received information related to the use of each channel of the second frequency band. The first frequency band and the second frequency band are distinguished from each other based on whether the MBAN terminal uses a corresponding frequency band first.

The present description relates to a method in which a terminal accesses a base station in a wireless communication system and to a terminal thereof, wherein the method comprises the following steps: broadcasting, to at least one base station, an advertisement message containing identification information for advertising the existence of the terminal; receiving, from the base station, an inviting message which allows access to the base station; and performing an access procedure with the base station in accordance with the received inviting message. In addition, the present description relates to a method in which a base station accesses a terminal in a wireless communication system, wherein the method comprises the following steps: receiving an advertisement message which is broadcasted by the terminal and which contains identification information for advertising the existence of the terminal; transmitting, to the terminal, an inviting message which allows access to the base station; and performing an access procedure with the terminal in accordance with the inviting message.
