According to one embodiment, a method of controlling a wearable device includes the steps of detecting a real object and displaying a first virtual object based on the detected real object when the real object is detected, and detecting the real object and a first interaction and displaying a second virtual object when the real object and the first interaction are detected, wherein the second virtual object is displayed based on the second virtual object information transmitted by the external device.

According to one embodiment of the present specification, a method of controlling a head mounted display (HMD) providing a closed-view includes the steps of displaying a virtual reality image, detecting a first movement of a first real object positioned at the outside of the HMD, and selectively providing information on the first real object in a first part of the virtual reality image based on the first movement. In this case, the first part is configured in response to a position of the first real object and the first movement can be compensated by a second movement of the HMD in case of performing the step of detecting the first movement of the first real object.

If first movement of the smart watch is detected on an arm of a user while the smart watch is being worn, the processor obtains direction and distance of the first movement of the smart watch. The display device includes a sensor unit configured to detect a first gesture input for a control interface, a communication unit configured to transmit a signal for generating a first image to a mobile device based on the detected first gesture input and to receive a signal for generating a second image from the mobile device, a display unit configured to display the control interface and the second image, and a processor configured to control the sensor unit, the communication unit and the display unit and execute according to a received control signal. The mobile device generates the signal for generating the first image, displays the first image, detects second gesture input for the first image, and transmits the signal for generating the second image to the display device based on the detected second gesture input.
