    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a thin film forming system which can uniformly form a thin film having arbitrary thickness. CONSTITUTION:The thin film forming system comprises an intaglio printing roll 3 having multiple ink cells, an ink feeder 5 for filling the cells of the intaglio roll 3 with ink, a print roll 4 having a protrusion 41 contacting with the intaglio printing roll 3 and transferring the ink from the cells of the intaglio printing roll 3 onto the protrusion 41, and a print table 6 for securing an object 61 to be printed and bringing the object 61 into contact with the protrusion 41 of the print roll 4 to transfer the ink from the protrusion 41 of the print roll 4 onto the surface of the object 61, wherein the intaglio printing roll 3 and the print roll 4 are driven at different peripheral speeds.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the apparatus and method for forming thin films which can print and form the thin films with a uniform film thickness by oscillating a printing surface plate which supports an object to be printed around the oscillation fulcrum of 1st supporting cylinders by the vertical movement of shock absorbers according to the rotational movement of a printing roll. CONSTITUTION:The printing surface plate 8 is supported in the intermediate part in the moving direction of the printing roll 3 oscillatably relative to a substrate 1 and vertically movably by the 1st supporting cylinders 9, 9. Both ends in the moving direction thereof are supported by the shock absorbers 10, 10, 11, 11 in contact therewith. The printing surface plate 8 which supports the object 7 to be printed having a curved surface is oscillated around the oscillation fulcrum of the 1st supporting cylinders 9, 9 by the vertical movement of the shock absorbers 10, 10, 11, 11 according to the rotational movement of the roll 3 and, therefore, the contact pressure between the roll 3 and the object 7 is maintained approximately constant. The thin film having the approximately uniform film thickness is thus surely formed on the surface of the object 7.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the size and weight of the table and to enable quick operation by operating reference pins and pulse motors for table rotation by an arithmetic control part and fixing a work at a specific position. CONSTITUTION:The base 13 supports the table 11 rotatably and a circular guide 18 is fixed on its rotary shaft 22. The work 21 placed on the table 11 is pressed against reference pins 2 and 5 by a pusher pin 10. Then television cameras 19a and 19b detect register marks 20a and 20b of the work 21 and an arithmetic processing part computes how far away the marks 20a and 20b are from their due positions and calculates their errors as three divided elements in an X-, a Y-, and a theta-axial direction. Then commands of correction quantities are sent to the pulse motors 4, 6, and 7. The reference pins 2 and 5 operate under the command of the arithmetic processing parts in the X- and Y-axial directions. The work 21 is clamped by pins 10a and 10b and follows up the pins 2 and 5 at all times. Further, the whole table 11 is rotated by the motor 7 in the theta direction.

CONSTITUTION:Since the surface of a cylindrical body or a columnar body can be finished and worked with accuracy higher than the surface of a plate, the surface of an intaglio roll 3 forming a specified pattern can be finished and worked with high precision, the surface of the intaglio roll 3 can be provided directly with a large number of ink cells 3b,...3b arrayed to a predetermined pattern, and the contact pressure of the soft protruding section 4a of a printing roll 4 to the surface, on which the specified pattern is shaped, of the intaglio roll 3 is easy to be kept constant extending over the whole surface. The thickness of a printing film printed onto a medium can be brought to a fixed value with high accuracy extending over the whole surface. The printing roll 4 and the intaglio roll 3 are synchronized and rotated by a printing-roll driving motor 7, and the printing roll 4 and a surface plate 11 are also synchronized and moved, thus simplifying a synchronized operation mechanism for these parts.
