Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic surgical device which can be quickly set under an ultrasonic surgery operable state by detecting whether or not an ultrasonic surgical utensil is under a normal using state, and at the same time, can perform an accurate control and so forth.
SOLUTION: In a device body, a plurality of hand pieces having built-in ultrasonic oscillators, or the like, driven by different resonant frequencies are selectively connected. In the device body, when a starting means 24 is turned on, a control circuit 9 starts the operation, and a frequency sweep is performed by a reference oscillator 7 which is formed by a direct digital synthesizer 7b. In this case, a resonance point detecting circuit 15 transmits a detection result corresponding to the resonance point by the phases or the like of a voltage and current of a driving signal applied to the hand pieces, to a CPU 28 of the control circuit 9. When the resonance point is detected, frequency data at the resonance point is stored in a RAM 21a of a storage means. When a processing output is actually outputted, the oscillation is performed by the stored data. Thus, by performing the frequency sweep or the like by the digital data, a more accurate control operation and stable motions with less variations are made possible.
