    Abstract: This invention miniaturizes a package of a semiconductor device and simplifies a manufacturing procedure to reduce a manufacturing cost. A semiconductor wafer formed of a plurality of semiconductor chips formed with MEMS devices and wiring thereof on front surface thereof and a cap arrayed wafer disposed with a plurality of sealing caps are attached to seal the MEMS devices in cavities between them. Then, a plurality of via-holes is provided penetrating through the semiconductor wafer to form embedded electrodes therein, and bump electrodes are formed thereon. After this procedure, this structure is cut along scribe lines to be divided into each of packages.

    Abstract: An object of the present invention is to offer a component suction head for electronic component mounting machines which is capable of securely holding electronic components by suction and smoothly mounting them on printed wiring boards without dislocation. To achieve the objective, the component suction head of the present invention comprises the following. A suction nozzle unit 24 has a suction face 33 at the center of its tip, for holding electronic component 10, and a through hole 27 formed at its center which leads to the suction face 33.     Abstract: An image scanning device is provided with simplified operation. A document holder has reference marks and/or a positioning frame so a document, such as a film or film slide, can be repeatably placed in an accurate position on the document holder. The document can be pressed between two flat plates of transparent material on the document holder to keep the document flat. The image scanning device has a door that need not be manually opened or closed. The document holder is inserted into the image scanning device through the door and is accurately mounted to a movable stage. The stage contacts the document holder so the document holder is positioned on the stage in the same position every time the document holder is mounted to the stage. The stage can also be positioned such that the stage is fixed to a case containing the image scanning device. By fixing the stage to the case, damage to the stage and other support devices is avoided during shipping or transport.
