    Abstract: A method and device are disclosed for accounting for and/or compensating for display shading in an image capture device. The device may receive first image data from a camera sensor, the camera sensor being disposed below at least a portion of a display. The device may receive at least a portion of display content. The device may determine an adjustment matrix based on the at least a portion of display content. The device may apply the adjustment matrix to the first image data to create second image data. The device may output the second image data.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed for accounting for and/or compensating for display shading in an image capture device. The image capture device may include preset parameters that are indicative of the layout of sub-pixels in the display and may capture at least a portion of content displayed on the display. The image capture device may generate an adjustment matrix, such as a two-dimensional gain matrix, based upon preset parameters and/or the at least a portion of content displayed. The image capture device may capture first image data and apply the adjustment matrix to the first image data to create second image data.
