    Abstract: PURPOSE:To easily recognize pictures and to improve a using feeling by connecting picture data for retrieval on a front side inside a data file to the picture data, forming them as one unit of the data file and changing the display state to a moved display range. CONSTITUTION:Broken lines indicate the dot size of a display part and only a slight area can be displayed by one screen in a normal picture 60, however, more than a half of the area can be displayed by one screen in a thinned picture 50. When the display of the thinned picture 50 is viewed and the pictures are desired to be displayed in detail, the normal picture 60 is displayed. Since the thinned picture 50 and the normal picture 60 are in the same data file, the time is not required for changeover. Then, when the dot size of the picture data is larger than a displayable size, a large range approximately for one screen for instance is moved (jumping movement) and the whole is promptly confirmed. Further, by minutely adjusting a display position so as to make a target part easily visible by shift movement, usability is improved.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To easily record and reproduce picture data by connecting the picture data for retrieval on a front side in a data file to the picture data and forming one unit of the data file by both picture data. CONSTITUTION:The frame of broken lines indicates the dot size (640 dots wide and 400 dots long) of a display part. Only a slight area can be displayed by one screen in a normal picture 60, however, more than a half of the area can be displayed by one screen in a thinned picture 50 and the whole can be confirmed by moving a display area within two screens. Also, when it is set to display and output the thinned picture 50 in advance, the thinned picture 50 can be displayed immediately after the specifying operation of a reproducing file. Also, more than a half of the area of pictures is displayed by the display of one time in the thinned picture 50 and it is useful for the retrieval. Also, since the thinned picture 50 and the normal picture 60 are in the same data file, the access operation of changeover is unnecessary and the time is not required.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance the matching of a spindle motor immediately after track jump by providing a speed servo generating means to hold a speed servo signal just before the track jump, and a means to generate a phase servo signal at a prescribed state. Meanwhile, a phase servo generation circuit generates the phase servo signal SBPH by comparing the phase of the signal SSB or the signal FMCK with that of a reference clock signal CKEFM. Also, the spindle motor is driven by resetting the phase of the signal CKEFM at a prescribed timing immediately after the track jump, and generating a signal SBPH from a state where the phase of the signal SWB of the signal FMCK coincides with that of the signal CKEFM.

CONSTITUTION:A recording disk 1, for example, is an optical magnetic disk having a vertical magnetizing film having a magnetic optical effect and rotated and driven with a constant linear velocity. A pregroup 2 is formed in a spiral shape on the disk 1, and on the land part between groups 2, an emboss area 4 composed of the unevenness pattern by a pit 3 in an inner circumferential direction and a signal recording area 5, in which an optical magnetic recording is executed, are alternately provided at an equal pitch. At the area 4, the parts of 44 bits in total of a frame synchronizing signal and a sub-code are recorded beforehand. At the area 5, 588 bits of the same signal as the area 4 and the signal such as performance information are time-base-compressed and recorded. Thus, even when the error factor between respective pieces of equipment at the time of recording and reproducing is considered, a satisfactory reproduction can be executed.
