    Abstract: PURPOSE:To keep the continuity of a track phase before and after the editing point by selecting each output of a phase servo circuit and a speed deviation compensating circuit and adding the result to a speed control voltage of the speed servo circuit so as to current the motor speed. CONSTITUTION:The deviation of a pulse number count of an output of a frequency generator fitted to the shaft of a capstan motor 1 within a prescribed period or the time count corresponding to a prescribed pulse number is detected and converted into a voltage by a speed deviation compensation circuit 7. Each output of the circuit 7 and a phase servo circuit 4 is selected by a changeover switch 6 and the result is added to the speed control voltage being an output of the speed servo circuit 2. Thus, the circuit 7 functions complementarily with the circuit 4 when the mode is switched from the reproduction into the recording mode at the editing point at assembly edition so as to keep the continuity of the track phase before and after the edition point.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To effectively utilize the space of the width direction of a magnetic tape by forming a control signal record track and a time code signal record track in order that the part of it mutually overlaps. CONSTITUTION:Magnetic heads 11 and 12 of a first and second to record a control signal and a time code signal are departed for a prescribed distance in the travelling direction of a magnetic tape 10 at the time of a recording, arranged at a position partly overlapped in the width direction of the magnetic tape 10 and the control signal record track TRCTL1 to patly overlapped and a time code signal record track TRTC1 are formed. A cross talk contained in a time code signal obtained by the second or first magnetic heads 12 and 11 or the control signal can be removed by correcting based on the control signal or the time code signal obtained from a third magnetic head 13.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To accurately input a guard band noise in a vertical blanking period, by stopping a motor with a prescribed timing based on the reproducing output of a control signal recorded at a position corresponding to a video track recorded on a tape in a decelerating state. CONSTITUTION:A CTL signal is recorded on the tape at every interval regulated by the specification of the tape. The CTL signal is recorded in the neighborhood of the tip of the video track at every frame. Therefore, a certain period starting from the reproduction of the CTL signal by heads 7 and 8, is overlapped with the vertical blanking period of the video signal. Accordingly, the position separating by a prescribed distance regulated by the machine style of a VTR, or the specification of the tape from the reproducing position of the CTL signal, forms the guard band, and also, the position corresponds with the vertical blanking period. In this way, by tracing the position by the heads 7 and 8, the guard band noise can be inputted in the vertical blanking period.
