Messages 61, 62 of a caller are recorded in response to the message POGM4 and OGM5 on the tape 1. A circuit 19 consists of a microcomputer and the like, an incoming call of telephone is applied from a telephone terminal 20 to the circuit 19, a remote control signal to the message POGM4 is detected at a remote control signal detection circuit 30, a tape deck 32 is driven with a mechanical deck control circuit 31 for the processing to the message POGM4.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To permit an opposite-side to record a requirement message for a person to whom he wants to talk in a state that the message is not known by anyone by providing a memo sound recording key which can record a call in an off-hook state. CONSTITUTION:A control part 30 maintains a call state by permitting the operation of the recording key TRK to drive a relay switch RS and to turn off a switch S. Consequently, a line is not disconnected even if the person who answers the phone on-hooks a receiver in such a state, and he can return to his work. When a system is set in an on-hook state or when the key TRK is depressed, preparation for transmission or sound recording is executed by a control signal outputted from the control part 30 and the system is switched to a call recording mode. When the sound recording of the opposite requirement message terminates and when the opposite rings off, an off-hook detection part OHD stops a sound recording action and restores an automatic answering telephone set 20 to an initial reception standby state.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a person other than a specific user from setting the automatic answering mode from the external by using a password number when the automatic answering mode is set from the external. CONSTITUTION: When it is detected that the ringing tone continues for 60sec, a controller 28 transmits a signal to a line at intervals of 3sec. If the password number is detected within 30sec, an automatic answering telephone set is set to remote control mode and waists for a command signal. If the command signal indicating the automatic answering mode is detected within 30sec in this mode, an ICM tape 18 is rewound to the tape top and the start of an OGM tape 19 is searched. If an ICM reproducing command is detected on the way, the CIM tape 18 is reproduced.

An incoming message (ICM), a silent part, a cue signal, and a silent part are recorded in order on the ICM tape 2 after a 2-sec silent part 7 is recorded from the tape top. Thus, divisions of plural ICMs 1-(n) are detected distinctly by a deep tone of about 0.5sec, and the malfunction is prevented surely because silent parts are formed on both sides of the division tone.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To detect a cue signal easily with a high precision by using a signal having a prescribed frequency out of touch tone signals for dial call as the cue signal. CONSTITUTION:A single tone signal of, for example, 1666Hz out of touch tone signals is used as the cue signal, a beep tone signal, a key operation accepting tone signal, an alarm tone signal, or the like, and the cue signal is recorded on an audio track together with an audio signal. A PLL circuit 17 is locked to 1666Hz to use this PLL circuit 17 as a cue signal detecting circuit having the band pass filter characteristic. In this case, not only the lock width of the PLL circuit 17 is narrowed but also the lock time is extended for the purpose of distinguishing the cue signal from the audio signal.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To attend plural number of trunk lines with one set, by connecting plural trunk lines and attaining the transmission and recording of message through a trunk line having an incoming call. CONSTITUTION:An automatic answering telephone set is connected to plural number (e.g., 2) of trunk lines connected to telephone sets 41A, 41B. The incoming call to the telephone sets 41A, 41B is detected at incoming circuits 44A, 44B and an incoming call selecting circuit 24. The incoming call selecting circuit 24 informs it to a control circuit 19 to which trunk line the incoming call is given. The control circuit 19 drives the mechanism deck and gives the response message prepared in advance to a caller through the trunk line having the incoming call. This response message can be changed for each trunk line. Then, the mode is changed over to the recording mode and the message of the caller is recorded on a tape. Thus, one device attends plural number of trunk lines.
