PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information communication system providing analysis of viewed image area data of image data from different view point positions such as in a panorama or a celestial sphere dynamic image. SOLUTION: In the system, the image data from different view point positions such as in a panorama or a celestial sphere dynamic image is distributed, a selected image of a user is displayed in a display device of each user, and control information of the user with respect to distributed contents is acquired. Data of a viewed angle, a viewed elevation angle, or zoom adjustment controlled by a controller of the user is acquired as display position control information to the image data, and a viewing condition concerning an image area actually displayed in the display device by the user is grasped. By setting advertising rates on the basis of viewing conditions per image area, a proper advertising rate reflecting accurate user viewing conditions can be set.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wide-range video image of the entire celestial sphere, by modifying an imaging unit that obtains a wide range video image of a half celestial sphere. SOLUTION: In the imaging unit, where a convex mirror 1 is made to face a CCD camera 12 having a macrolens 12a via a transparent cylinder 3, a CCD camera 11 is provided on the convex mirror 1 via a wide-angle lens 10 and a focus P of the convex mirror 1 is becomes identical with an NP-point Q of the wide angle lens 10 in order to prevent production of parallax.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such the problem that large parallax arises in the case of forming a wide video by joining videos photographed by several cameras. SOLUTION: By arranging a lens mount 8 with fixed objective lenses 2a to 2e on a camera mount 10 with fixed CCD cameras 3a to 3e through a hollow supporting pole 9 with optical rods 2a to 2e stored, and then, connecting the CCD cameras 3a to 3e to the objective lenses 2a to 2e through the optical rods 4a to 4e, the objective lenses 2a to 2e are adjacently arranged, then, a distance between respective NP points of the objective lenses 2a to 2e is reduced, so that the parallax is reduced.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means to accurately measure an exercise volume and display an accurate calorie consumption of a user. SOLUTION: An apparatus for acquisitioning a position information 101 obtains an information on a user's position. A basic volume calculation apparatus 102 calculates a distance of movement, time required for the movement, velocity of the movement from the position information thus obtained. An apparatus for calculating a calorie consumption 103 calculates the calorie consumption required for the movement by the user from the above distance of movement, the time required for the movement, the velocity of the movement and a method for the movement by the user (for example, walking, bicycle). A display apparatus 111 displays the above calorie consumption. When an abnormal velocity of movement that cannot be reached by the user is detected, the apparatus for calculating the calorie consumption 103 temporarily stops its operation.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily recognize the position of an optional display screen capable of image pickup in an image processing system and also construct a system for stereoscopically synthesizing the image of a virtual body to a TV image viewed by an observer with excellent reproducibility. SOLUTION: This receiver is provided with a display means 1 for at least displaying three or more points of light source images PL1-4 at specified positions within a screen within the optional screen capable of the image pickup and a control means 6 for flicker-controlling the light source images PL1-4 displayed at the display means 1 so as to make flicker patterns respectively different. Thus, since flicker control is performed so as to make the flicker patterns of the light source images PL1-4 different, in the case of picking up the image of the receiver 100 by a special photographing device like a flow photographing CCD device, the positions of the light source images PL1-4 are easily specified compared to the case of uniformly lighting the plural light source images PL1-4.

SOLUTION: Light is radiated from an irradiation device 2 and a light spot 3 is generated on the wall and ceiling of a room. An image pickup device 4 picks up the images of the light spots 3 through and transmits the images to a coordinate detector 5. The detector 5 detects the inclination of the head of the user 1 and detected information is transmitted to an image provision device 6. The image provision device 6 generates the image corresponding to the received position of the user 1 and inclination of the head of the user 1 and transmits it to a spectacle type display 7. The spectacle type display 7 displays the transmitted image.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display control device, a display control method, a program, and a display control system, which realize reduction of discomfort a user possibly feels.SOLUTION: A display control device includes: a communication part for communicating with an external apparatus; a position specification part for specifying respective positions of a pickup device for picking up an image, and a display device for displaying the image; a process determination part for determining whether to horizontally invert the image picked up by the pickup device on the basis of the position of the display device displaying the image and that of the pickup device picking up the image to be displayed; and a processing part for selectively inverting the image picked up by the pickup device. Further, the processing part horizontally inverts the image picked up by the pickup device and causes the display device to display the horizontally inverted image, if it is determined that the image is to be horizontally inverted, or, if it is determined otherwise, causes the display device to display the image picked up by the pickup device.

A reception buffer time setting part 208 calculates a reception buffer time by using the maximum transmission delay time, transmission delay times of the data transmission by the reception parts 113, and a regulated reception buffer time. The reception buffer time setting part 208 sets various kinds of delay times and wait times such as a variable compression encoding delay time, a redundant encoding block reception wait time, an auto repeat request (ARQ) retransmission packet wait time, and a network jitter correspondence buffer time, based on the reception buffer time. SOLUTION: A display control device includes a display device 20 capable of displaying video information included in a received television broadcasting signal and thumbnail images; and a control section 50 for controlling display on the display device 20 of the video information contained in the television broadcasting signal and the thumbnail images. The control section 50 forms in the display device 20 a main display area for displaying a video image and sub-display areas for displaying the thumbnail images around the main display area and displays thumbnail images in the sub-display areas in accordance with the order of priorities.
