Abstract:
A capacitor has a positive electrode 10, a negative electrode 20, and a solid electrolyte layer arranged between the electrode layers 10 and 20. At least one 10 (20) of the electrode layers of this capacitor 100 has an Al porous body 11, and an electrode body 12 (13) held in this Al porous body 11 to polarize the electrolyte. The oxygen content in the surface of the Al porous body 11 is 3.1% by mass or less. The matter that the oxygen content in the surface of the Al porous body 11 is 3.1% by mass or less is equal to the matter that a high-resistance oxide film is hardly formed on the surface of the Al porous body 11. Thus, this Al porous body 11 makes it possible to make the current collector area of the electrode layer 10 (20) large so that the capacitor 100 can be improved in capacity.

A battery (1) including a positive electrode (4), a negative electrode (3) mainly composed of sodium, and an electrolyte provided between the positive electrode (4) and the negative electrode (3), the electrolyte being molten salt containing anions expressed with chemical formula (I) below and cations of metal, R 1 and R 2 in the chemical formula (I) above independently representing fluorine atom or fluoroalkyl group, the cations of metal containing at least one of at least one type of cations of alkali metal and at least one type of cations of alkaline-earth metal, as well as an energy system including the battery (1) are provided.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molten salt battery in which the insulation part in a battery container is not broken even if the positive electrode and the negative electrode expand or contract.SOLUTION: A plurality (6 in the figure) of rectangular flat plate-shaped negative electrodes 21, 21, ..21, and a plurality (5 in the figure) of rectangular flat plate-shaped positive electrodes 41, 41, ..41 are laminated alternately one by one in the lateral direction via separators 31, 31, ..31 to face each other and contained in a battery container 10 consisting of an aluminum alloy. An alumite coating 1H is formed on the inside of the battery container 10 and subjected to insulation treatment. Furthermore, rectangular tabs (conductors) 42, 42, ..42 for taking out currents from the positive electrodes 41, 41, ..41 are interconnected via a tab lead 43, and rectangular tabs 22, 22, ..22 for taking out currents from the negative electrodes 21, 21, ..21 are interconnected via a tab lead 23.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molten salt battery pack which allows for rigid mechanical connection and electrical connection of adjoining molten salt batteries simultaneously.SOLUTION: Connection tabs 42 and 22 of the positive electrode and negative electrode 21 in one and the other adjoining molten salt batteries are connected, respectively, to two connection members 43 and 23 consisting of an aluminum alloy and having a U-shaped plan view. When the sidewalls 1A, 1B of the adjoining battery containers 10, 10 are abutted and fastened using a bolt 51 and nuts 52, 52 consisting of an aluminum alloy, the two connection members 43 and 23 are connected electrically by the bolt 51 and nuts 52, 52.
