    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent crystallization of an Se photoreceptor, its abrasion, rise of residual potential, deterioration of sensitivity, etc., and to enhance electrophotographic characteristics of the photoreceptor, by adding an aromatic polyamideimide layer on the surface of the Se or Se alloy layer. CONSTITUTION:A layer of a polyamideimide chiefly composed of repeated units represented by the formula shown (Ar1 is a trivalent aromatic group and Ar2 is a divalent aromatic group) is formed as a protective layer on a photosensitive layer made of Se or Se alloy on a conductive substrate, thus permitting an electrophotographic receptor to prevent crystallization of the Se or Se alloy layer, its abrasion, and further unfavorable influence on its acceptable potential and its dark decay, and to raise sensitivity and to little raise residual potential.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable higher transferring speed and higher resolution, by a method wherein a film in which not less than 70mol% of recurring units consists of a specified poly-p-phenylene sulfide is used as a base, and a heat-fusible transferrable ink layer is provided on one side of the base. CONSTITUTION:The base consists solely of a film (inclusive of a sheet) of a high molecular weight substance in which not less than 70mol% of the recurring units consists of a poly-p-phenylene sulfide (PPS) of the formula. The thickness of the film is 1-20mum, and the film has a modulus in tension at 120 deg.C of not lower than 100kg/mm. and a coefficient of thermal shrinkage at 120 deg.C of not higher than 5%. A heat-fusible transferrable ink is applied to one side of the film by hot-melt coating or is applied in the state of a solution in a solvent by a gravure, reverse-roll, slit die or other coating method to provide the transferrable ink layer. Accordingly, favorable image quality can be stably obtained for a long period of time.
