PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out simply and inexpensively a decoration of a design such as grain pattern of which a brightness is varied by a water pressure transferring. SOLUTION: A printed layer 3 is formed on a decoration surface 2 of a plastic molded product 1 by a water pressure transferring of design by applying a design and a decoration. A colored clear painting is coated on a periphery edge portion of the decoration surface 2 and a clear painting 5 having a higher transparency or brightness as compared with the colored clear painting 4 is coated on a center portion. Thereby, a clear coat layer 6 exhibiting a graduation pattern of which a brightness is varied from the periphery edge portion to the center portion is formed on the printed layer 3.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the commodity value of a plastic molded product used as an interior part for a car or the like by applying a novel decoration of a high level having a three-dimensional feeling or a high grade feeling to the surface of the molded product. SOLUTION: A coating film 3 of magnetic coating containing a magnetic powder 2 as a brilliant pigment is formed on the surface of a base material 1 being a plastic molded product and, when the coating film 3 is formed, a part of the magnetic powder 2 is deflected in one direction by the attraction force of a magnet to form a ground pattern consisting of brilliant parts 6 and non-brilliant parts 7 and ink patterns 8 showing arbitrary patterns are printed on the ground pattern and a clear coat 9 comprising a surface protective layer is further applied thereon.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a processing process in relation to a surface processed product obtained by applying processing patterns of printing ink to the surface of a plastic molded product to reduce processing cost and to prevent the damage to quality even if the processing process is simplified. SOLUTION: Patterns of printing ink 4 are directly formed on the anchor layer 2' formed on the surface of a plastic molded product 1 without forming a color base due to undercoat material to simplify a processing process and the anchor layer 2' is formed by a color primer compounded with pigment for coloring a material to make it possible to beautifully and sharply express patterns of the printing ink 4 even if there is no color base and the resin component of the color primer is composed of a mixture wherein a wt. ratio of a polyolefin to a polyurethane is 1:(1-4) and the light fastness and solvent resistance of the anchor layer 2' or the adhesiveness to the plastic molded product 1 is enhanced.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition which has a low VOC and is excellent in both storage stability and coating film physical properties. SOLUTION: The aqueous gel composition for coating is characterized by dispersing particulates (A) into a gelled aqueous medium (C). It is preferable that the gel strength of the gelled aqueous medium (C) is 5-5,000,000 mg/cm 2 . It is also preferable that the gelled aqueous medium (C) is either one of being gelatinized by a water soluble cross-linker compound (b1) or gelatinized by the resin particulates which consist of water insoluble compound (b2) and has a functional group that is capable of affecting the interaction to the surface of the particle. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent the remnant of a hydraulic transferring film from adhering to the surface of a matter to be transferred and resulting in turning into lumps by a method wherein the remnant of the hydraulic transferring film left on the water surface in a hydraulic transferring tank without being transferred to the surface of the matter to be transferred is quickly discharged in a short period of time outside the tank. SOLUTION: A vacuum chamber 4 for sucking under vacuum the remnant of the hydraulic transferring film floating on the water surface of the hydraulic transferring tank 1 and the water in the tank 1 from a suction port 2 through a pipe 3 is provided outside the hydraulic transferring tank 1. Further, in the vacuum chamber 4, an exhaust port 9, through which the remnant F and the water W sucked in the chamber are discharged, and a drain valve 10 for opening and closing the exhaust port 9 are provided so as to have a remnant discharging mechanism. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating film forming method by which a coating film having weather resistance compatible with designability is obtained in the internal and external parts of automobile and a coated article. SOLUTION: In the coating film forming method including a process for applying a color base coating material, an ink and a clear coating material successively on a plastic base material, the clear coating material is a setting type coating material containing an acrylic polyol and a polyisocyanate compound, the acrylic polyol has 140-160 KOHmg/g hydroxyl value and the ratio of the isocyanate equivalent of the isocyanate compound to the hydroxyl equivalent of the acrylic polyol (isocyanate equivalent/hydroxyl equivalent) is 0.8/1 to 1.2/1. SOLUTION: The brilliant coating film 3 formed on the surface of a base material 1 of the coated article consists of the coating film of a transparent clear coating material 4 of which the substrate is visible through and brilliant material groups 6 congested with brilliant materials 7 are sparsely dispersed into the coating film.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent traffic accidents by clearly notifying the presence of cars without headlamps while dark at nightfall, cars left parked on the streets at night, or bicycles without lights to pedestrians or other car drivers. SOLUTION: A luminous light emission layer 3 which phosphoresces in a dark place is formed on the surface of a lens body 2 of a lens 1 for headlamps by a clear coating mixed with a luminous pigment whose light yellowish green color disappears to generate transparency when mixed with a paint vehicle, then at night, the surface of the lens 1 shines continuously with phosphorescence according to the light emission color of the luminous pigment and the afterglow thereof, thereby notifying the presence of cars and bicycles without headlamps, or cars left parked on the streets.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relax a state of tension and a restless state on the part of a driver due to darkness suddenly attacking him when he drives his vehicle into a tunnel in the daytime, and simultaneously eliminate the danger of collision by removing a restless state concerning a handle operation when he is at a loss whether or not a steering wheel has been steered though his vehicle is actually running straight ahead. SOLUTION: A light emitting clear coating is applied to the wheel base material 3 of a steering wheel consisting of a handle main body so as to be formed into a light accumulating and light emitting layer 4, and the layer is subsequently coated with usual clear paint so as to be formed into a surface protection clear coat layer 4. In which, the light emitting clear coating is mixed with light accumulating pigments capable of being transparent to an extent that its appearance is not impaired while the body color of light yellowish green and the like entirely dispears when it is mixed with paint vehicle, and the light emitting clear coating is so applied that the driver can visually make sure of the movement and center position of the handle main body and the like by letting phosphorescence be emitted in a dark place.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create a comfortable space in a car by showing a design performance not only in the daytime or in a light space but also at night or in a dark place such as a tunnel or the like, and to contribute to increase a demand of trimming parts by showing a new design performance which satisfies an individualizing trend or a leisure sense of users, and also to remove a feeling of fear or uneasiness or the like of a driver against the darkness which is a primary factor of a collision accident in a tunnel. SOLUTION: A luminous base 2, including a luminous pigment phosphorescing in the dark, is formed on the surface of a molding 1, and a printed layer 3, on which a desired design pattern is printed, is formed. Thereby, the pattern on the printed layer 3 is lightened up like a shadow picture and a fantastic light-decorative effect is shown, by the phosphorescence in bright blue or the like emitted from the luminous base 2 in the dark or in a tunnel or the like. Therefore, the inside of the car is illuminated with the phosphorescence or the remained light, and a feeling of fear or uneasiness of a driver against the darkness is removed or moderated.
