Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effector-mounted terminal device which can change effects more than before. SOLUTION: At a download site 2, musical sound data of a plurality of termination melodies and a plurality of effect programs are stored. When a request is received from a portable terminal device 1 through the Internet, internal musical sound data and an effect program are downloaded. The downloaded musical sound data and program are temporarily stored in a RAM 7 of the portable terminal device 1, the musical sound data are set in a sequencer 22, and the effect program is set in a DSP 16 which functions as an effector. When there is an incoming call, a sound source 15 generates a digital musical sound signal according to the output of the sequencer 22 and outputs it to the DSP 16, which imparts effects according to the downloaded program.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate prescribed singing voices different from the singing voices of a singer inputted through a microphone. SOLUTION: A plurality of song segment data Dv formed from the singing voices having the prescribed voice quality, such as singing voices of professional singers in addition to playing sequence data Dp for accompaniment are recorded in an HD 12 of a KARAOKE sing-along machine. Accompaniment tones are continuously reproduced in accordance with the playing sequence data Dp. When, on the other hand, the singer inputs the singing voices in the microphone 18, the trigger sound includes in the singing voices is detected and the singing voices of the prescribed voice quality different from the singing voices of the singer are reproduced in accordance with the song segment data Dv.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the necessity of generating dedicated data while conducting a synchronized performance with the external device which has a time difference between the supply of playing data and the actual generation of sounds. SOLUTION: A musical playing device 100 conducts the performance of more than one playing part by supplying the performance data which determine the musical sounds to be generated for each part in a time sequential manner. When the musical data are supplied, a sequencer 104 determines the playing part to be assigned to an automatic playing piano 200. Prior to a performance, the timing of the supply of the playing data of the performance part assigned to an external device is beforehand detected and a computation is made for each of the detected timing that is advanced for a prescribed timing of 0.5 second than the detected timing and for the performance, the computed timing is supplied to the piano 200.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the device through which a KARAOKE singer and other persons join in KARAOKE by taking charge of the KARAOKE performance. CONSTITUTION: The musical sound of the KARAOKE musical performance is generated by using a physical model sound source 19. The physical model sound source is driven with musical performance parameters of music data and some of them are made open to a user. The user inputs parameters by operating a controller 31. The physical model sound source puts the musical performance parameter and the user parameters inputted from the controller 31 together to parameters to be inputted to a physical model sound source main body (nonlienar part and linear part). The musical performance parameters of the physical model sound source are affected greatly by the timbre of the generated musical sound, so the timbre of the generated musical sound can be varied greatly. Consequently, a basic musical performance is done with the musical performance parameters, only the part of representation is made open to the user, and real representation can easily be produced.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a 'KARAOKE' (orchestration without vocals) device in which a singing guide function is strengthened by also displaying interval information on the monitor that shows the text information of the song being played. CONSTITUTION:A PA system output section 7 amplifies voice inputted from a voice input section 4 and the music generated by a music generating section 5 and outputs them. An interval graph generating section 10 generates a time sequential interval graph based on the interval of the music being played. A display section 1 displays the text picture and the interval graph of the music. The display color of the interval graph varies as the melody progresses.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology to produce a musical sound of arco execution and pizzicato execution of stringed instruments such as violins.SOLUTION: A mobile information device displays a tone specification image receiving operation specifying a tone of stringed instruments such as violins and a playing operation image receiving playing operation which responds to arco execution or pizzicato execution for the specified tone on a touch panel. When tone specification operation and playing operation by a player are received in the touch panel, a tone relating to the received tone specification operation and an execution corresponding to the received playing operation are determined and a music sound based on the determined execution and tone is produced.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile information device that generates continuous constant sound of a musical instrument such as a percussion instrument. SOLUTION: The mobile information device 2 includes a storage section 24 for storing musical instrument sound data, and a motion detection section 29 for detecting performance of a user to the device. A control section 28 specifies a sounding period of musical instrument sound data corresponding to an operation section 20 which is pressed by the user, based on motion information output by the motion detection section 29 and determining condition information in which a preset threshold of the motion information is defined, and repeats generation and stop of the musical instrument sound data at fixed time intervals by a sound source 21. Thereby, the continuous constant sound is generated according to user's performance motion to the mobile information device 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT

Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal capable of performing a piece of music by using a variety of waveform data. SOLUTION: A voice signal, which is input through a microphone 10 and converted to a digital signal by an A/D converter 11, is made into waveform data (tone data) 22 by a sampler 21. The waveform data 22 are registered in a sound source section 12 as the tone data by a tone control section 23. When a number key is depressed, it is detected by a number key assigner 24, and a MIDI control section 25 transmits a MIDI message for instructing to generate sound with a pitch or a tone assigned to the number key, to the sound source section 12. Accordingly, the sound source section 12 generates sound with the instructed pitch or tone, and it is output from a speaker 14. A method for generating sound by assigning the same tone data with a different pitch to each number key and a method for generating sound by assigning a different tone data (waveform data) to each number key can be used.
