Abstract:
A spray roller system for application of architectural paints coating, includes an extension tube, a spray head mounted on a distal end of the extension tube, and the in-line valve with a trigger mounted on a proximal end of the extension tube, and a roller handle removable mounted on the extension tube adjacent the spray head. The spray roller system can spray and back roll a coating on a down stroke and roll on each up stroke. When the roller handle is removed from the extension tube, it can be used to hand roll sensitive wall areas. With the roller handle removed, extension tube, spray head, and in-line valve can be used as a spray extension to apply coatings in hard to reach areas.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a hand-held applicator device (10) for applying a liquid or pasty material to an object, the device comprising a gripping part (12), an applicator part (16) mounted on the latter, a reservoir (18) which can be connected in fluid-technical manner to the applicator part and defines an accommodation chamber (20) for accommodating the material to be applied, and a pressure element (30) which acts on the accommodating chamber and by means of which the material can be urged through a reservoir opening (38) in the direction of the applicator part. Further provided is a threaded spindle (26) which can be rotated by a motor (36) and moves the pressure element optionally forwards or backwards.
Abstract:
An applicator is provided in which paint flow is facilitated utilising a grip pump bias (18, 20, 40) to a paint distributor such as roller (72). The roller (72) is configured within a head (12) such that paint is appropriately distributed with limited leakage in order to allow easy operation for distributing paint upon a surface. The application also includes details of a number of refinements with respect to operation of the applicator at elevated or displaced positions, filling paint containers or canisters and providing greater paint flow control.
Abstract:
A paint system comprises a flexible bag (24) for paint, the bag having a sealable opening (40); a machine (10), adapted to receive and squeeze the bag of paint; a tube (60); a connector (50) at one end of the tube for releasable connection to said opening; and means (70) to connect a paint applicator (80) at the other end of said tube, adapted to receive paint from said bag, through said connector and tube, when the bag is squeezed by the machine. The connector has a bayonet-type connection (180) for engagement with a corresponding arrangement (140) on the opening. The connector and opening have smooth circular-cylindrical engaging sections (153,130) adapted to seal one against the other. The machine comprises an open container (12) to receive the bag of paint and having a top edge (9) closed by a lid (14), the edge having a recess (35) adapted to receive the connector. The connector comprises a support region (158) adapted to be received in the recess, a connection region (154) for connection to the bag, and a flexible region (156) between said connection and support regions, which flexible region permits adjustment of the position of the connection region relative to the support region during emptying of the bag in use of the system. A bellows (22) is in the container. A pump (28) is adapted to pressurise the bellows with fluid so as to squeeze the bag. A paint bag is also disclosed for use in the system.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A fluid applicator assembly includes an applicator device and a pumping device. In one embodiment, the applicator device includes a frame, a fluid supply passage connected with the frame, and a handle connected to the frame. The frame includes a first roller mount in a first roller axis and a second roller mount in a second roller axis that is spaced from the first roller axis. The fluid supply passage connects with the frame and includes a fluid outlet arranged for dispensing fluid onto an external surface of at least one of the first and second rollers. The handle connects to the frame and is rotatable with respect to the frame and a handle pivot axis that is offset from the first roller axis and the second roller axis. The pumping device, in a housing in a pump disposed in the housing and in communication with the fluid supply passage.

Abstract:
A paint or varnish feeder for a painting device comprises at least one manifold (13;33; ...) with openings or small dispensing channels (15; 55; ...). The at least one manifold (13;33; ...) is fed through at least one pipe (16; ...) starting from a container in which a slight pressure is created. The small dispensing channels (15; 55; ...) can have various configurations in the various embodiments.
