Abstract:
A potential elevator passenger or occupant (bearer) carries a portable transmitting device with which he must overtly indicate his intent to take an elevator trip before interrogation by a beacon will cause an elevator call to be automatically registered for him, or indicate his intent before gaining access to a space. The intent to take a trip is cancelled when the bearer enters an elevator car, requiring an additional overt act prior to entering an automatic elevator call the next time that the bearer approaches an elevator. Default destinations (floors or spaces) may be signified for the bearer, depending on the floor where the device is located, or the bearer may establish an alternative destination, the alternative destination being cancelled from the device when the bearer enters an elevator or gains access to a space. The intent may be managed and a default destination may be provided either by the portable device or by a system in the building. Authentication of the bearer's voice may precede provision of the token. Tokens may be manifested by the presence alternative destinations.
Abstract:
Method for handling erroneous calls in an elevator system, which includes at least one elevator, call-giving devices for registering calls on the floor levels and/or in the elevator car, and also a control system that responds to the aforementioned calls. One or more calls given by a passenger are registered, it is assessed on the basis of at least one criterion whether some call is erroneous, and at least one corrective action is performed for removing a call, or for rectifying the call data of a call, if the call is ascertained to be erroneous on the basis of the aforementioned criterion.
Abstract:
Elevator system (8) , which comprises one or more passenger elevators (2) and at least one special elevator (3) and call pushbuttons (5, 7) for reserving the elevator (2, 3) for use by passengers. The system further comprises a control system (9) , which is arranged to allocate a special elevator (3) as a response to a call received from a call pushbutton (7) of a special elevator and to allocate a passenger elevator (2) or a special elevator (3) to a user as a response to a call received from the call pushbutton (5) of a passenger elevator. In the method for controlling an elevator system a special elevator (3) is allocated in the elevator control system (9) as a response to a call received from a call pushbutton (7) of a special elevator, and a passenger elevator (2) or a special elevator (3) is allocated in the elevator control system (9) to a user as a response to a call received from the call pushbutton (5) of a passenger elevator.
Abstract:
Provided is a call registration device of an elevator capable of appropriately canceling a call registration by voice input. For this purpose, the call registration device of an elevator includes a storage section which stores in advance predetermined destination registration vocabulary voice data representing destination floors and predetermined call registration canceling vocabulary voice data not including a destination registration vocabulary; a voice recognition section which makes a judgment as to whether or not an inputted voice matches voice data of the storage section; a voice call registration section which, in the case where an inputted voice matched the destination registration vocabulary voice data, outputs to an elevator control device a call registration request to a destination floor of the destination registration vocabulary which the voice matches; and a destination floor holding section which holds the most up-to-date destination floor of a call registration request outputted by the voice call registration section. In the case where within a period of time in which a cancellation is possible after the holding of the most up-to-date destination floor in the destination floor holding section, a voice of the call registration canceling vocabulary is inputted, the voice call registration section outputs to the elevator control device a request to cancel a call registration of the destination floor held by the destination floor holding section.
Abstract:
There is provided a notification system of an elevator, which can urge the user who has gotten into a car other than the car assigned to a desired service floor to pay attention to his/her wrong behavior. For this purpose, the notification system has a configuration including a first receiver provided in an elevator hall, a control unit that assigns a car selected from among a plurality of elevator cars to a service floor acquired from an identification medium by the first receiver by means of wireless communication, a plurality of second receivers provided respectively in the plurality of elevator cars, and a notification control device configured such that when a car arrives at a hall, in the case where the car concerned is not assigned to the service floor acquired from the identification medium by the second receiver in the car concerned by means of wireless communication, a speaker provided in the car concerned is caused to notify the user about predetermined content with voice.

Abstract:
An elevator system includes an elevator car, a call panel, a controller, and a floor cancellation feature. The elevator car is adapted to travel in a hoistway defined by a building and between floors of the building. The call panel is located for passenger interaction, includes a plurality of floor selections, and communicates with the controller. The floor cancellation feature is associated with at least one of the call panel and the controller. The controller is configured to operate between a floor cancellation permit state and a floor cancellation restricted state, thereby respectively enabling and disabling the floor cancellation feature, and track at least one event associated with the floor cancellation restricted state.
