Abstract:
A paving element includes upper and lower surfaces and one or more drainage channels extending through the paving element between the upper and lower surfaces. The drainage channels include a substantially concave or cupule shaped upper portion, provided on the upper surface of the paving element, and a channel from the concave portion through to the lower surface of the bottom surface of the paving element. The drainage channels can be complete, when provided in the interior of the paving element, or partial, when provided along the sides or perimeter of the paving element. The partial channels are completed when the paving element is placed adjacent another paving element when forming a pavement. The drainage channels are adapted to facilitate the cleaning process of the channels.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a construction kit made of concrete paving stones comprising substantially prismatic stone bodies of a uniform height and upright lateral surfaces. A plurality of stone paving stones (2) arranged in rows and having the same width in addition to the same or different lengths can be placed manually or placed by means of a machine with continuous or offset joints in said joint areas. A plurality of rows of paving stones that are arranged next to each other in a parallel position is used to form a rectangular or square packet that can be placed using a machine. The paving stones (2) have side surfaces (4) which have head pieces (2') that are defined by a wavy line along part of their height and base pieces (2'') in sections, comprising domed areas (5) or projections jutting out laterally in relation to the head pieces (2') extending along another part of their height. When the packets are assembled for placement in the vicinity of the end stones that make up a row of paving stones, they form a line of continuous joints or provide substantially winding-shaped joints (7) if so desired by replacing different sized end stones from adjacent packets that have been moved towards each other.
Abstract:
A set of paving blocks (P) wherein each block (10) is a prism having sides (12, 14) and end walls (16, 18) that are irregular in outline but are contained only within a respective virtual rectangular perimeter (R). The rectangular perimeter (R) has a length (L) in an X axis and a width (W) in a Y axis at right angle to the X axis. At least two spaced apart parallel sections (Sy1, Sy2) of the prism extend between the side walls (12, 14), parallel to the Y axis and terminate at the virtual rectangular perimeter (R), such that each section (Sy1, Sy2) has a width equal to W and the prism has at least one section (Sx1) bisecting the virtual rectangle parallel to the X axis and terminating at a rectangular perimeter (R) and having a length equal to L.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a set of shaped bricks and is characterized in that it comprises first shaped bricks (2) having a shape which is waisted in plan view and divided into two triangles (4, 6) by a dummy joint (8). The set further comprises second shaped bricks (12) which are hexagonal in plan view. The invention further concerns a shaped brick (2) corresponding to the first shaped brick of this set of shaped bricks.
Abstract:
An installation apparatus for a pavement sidewalk block is provided to prevent heating of the pavement sidewalk block. An installation apparatus for a pavement sidewalk block comprises a stored water keeping unit(10) which keeps inputted rainwater(W), a stored water discharge zone unit(20) which stores the rainwater exceeding the keeping capacity of the stored water keeping unit and discharges it to the ground, and a garden section which stores the rainwater exceeding the discharge capacity of the stored water discharge zone unit and uses it for growth of vegetation. The stored water discharge zone unit comprises a rainwater storage unit(11) which stores the inputted rainwater, a first sidewalk block support member(12) which supports a sidewalk block(B) installed on the top of the rainwater storage part, a water supply member(13) which is placed in one end of side of the rainwater storage unit and delivers the kept rainwater to the installed sidewalk block, and a first overflow groove(14) which is formed in one upper end of the rainwater storage unit.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A cast-iron material road boundary member is provided to make the boundary member strong against outside impact, to obtain fine appearance, and to facilitate construction, by making a boundary member body with cast-iron ware like cast iron. CONSTITUTION: In a cast-iron material road boundary member, an insertion(11), a joining part(12), and a sidewalk block installation projection(13a) are integrally formed. The insertion part is formed to one side of an empty boundary member body(10). The joining part is stepped and protruded to the other side of the boundary member body. The sidewalk bock installation projection is protruded to the upper part of a sidewalk side(13). The joining part is inserted in the insertion part and is fixed by a fixing unit and thus boundary member bodies are interconnected.
Abstract:
An artificial flagstone for use in combination with other similar flagstones for covering a surface with a natural random look, the flagstone having a generally hexagonal body comprising a first, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth consecutive vertices; a first pair of first and second sides extending radially from the first vertex; a second pair of third and fourth sides extending radially from the third vertex; a third pair of fifth and sixth sides extending radially from the fifth vertex; wherein the sides of at least one of the first, second and third pair of sides have at least one split deviation along their length and are respectively rotational images of each other, and the artificial flagstone has no rotational symmetry when rotated about a central axis.
Abstract:
A structural wall unit system includes a plurality of wall units having at least one face being a rotational tessellation. The face has at least two irregular sides extending therefrom. Each side of the wall units have at least one spacer or connector configured to engage other wall units. The structural wall unit system also includes a plurality of starter course units, where each starter course unit has a portion of a primary rotational tessellation element having at least one irregularly shaped side that is an image of the first side or the third side. Each irregularly shaped side of the starter course units have at least one spacer or connector configured to engage the wall units, and the starter course units have at least one straight side. The starter course units and the wall units are configured for assembly as a structural wall having a natural, random appearance.
