Abstract:
A permeable surface covering unit comprises a top surface and at least two pairs of irregularly shaped mating sides, one or more passageways extending downwardly from the top surface, and at least one under channel connected to the passageways for retaining liquid, such as storm water. The sides of the unit preferably define an irregular rotational tessellation element. The passageways may comprise gaps or side cavities between units and/or core cavities or other passageways within the unit. Optional undercuts may be provided in the core cavities. Pervious material plugs are cast into the cavities extending into the channel or undercut. Thereby the plug is locked into the cavity like a rivet and resists being dislodged by mechanical or hydraulic forces. A permeable surface embodiment comprises a combination of pervious and impervious units, wherein the ratio of permeable to impermeable units and resulting surface absorption rate may be adjusted.

Cover for a road verge, formed as a verge strip which extends along a paving, composed of concrete stones, forming a bond which which may or may not be permanent, said bond being oriented transversely to the direction of travel or main direction of the paving, wherein the transition areas or joints, between the stones parallel to the direction of travel are staggered with respect to each other. At least at the joint edges which extend transverse to the direction of travel, the stones may be provided with concave and convex profiles for mutually interlocking engagement and/or at the joint edges which extend parallel to the direction of travel, they may be provided with concave and convex profiles for mutually interlocking engagement.

Eine Fußboden-Fertigplatte zur Bildung eines demontierbaren, vorzugsweise flächenelastischen Fußbodens, mit im wesentlichen rechtwinkliger Grundfläche, bestehend aus zwei Schichten, von denen die obere eine durchgehende Deckschicht bildet und die untere Schicht in Form eines Feldes von Auflageplatten (30) vorliegt. Die Auflageplatten stehen zumindest bereichsweise seitlich über die Deckschicht über, wobei in der unteren Schicht, vorzugsweise versenkt, im Bereich eines Eckabschnitts sowie im mittleren Abschnitt der daran anschließenden Rechteck-Stoßkante (24*) Zugteile in Form von flachen, längselastischen Formfedern (48) schwenkbar abgestützt aufnehmbar sind. Die Zugteile sind zur Anklammerung der anstoßenden Fertigplatte in Schnappeingriff mit einem dort in vorbestimmtem Abstand zur Stoßfuge (24) befestigten Verriegelungbolzen (46) bringbar. Auf seiten der zur Rechteck-Stoßkante (24*) senkrecht verlaufenden Stoßkanten (24,80) ist jeweils eine Einrichtung (92,96) zur Herstellung einer in der Fläche der Fußboden-Fertigplatte verschiebefesten Verzahnung mit der auf Stoß verlegten angrenzenden Platte vorgesehen.

Der Bausatz enthält einen Trogstein (9), der an seinen Seiten abwechslungsweise mit Schwalbenschwanznuten (3) und -federn (4) versehen ist. Auf seiner Oberseite sind in der Mitte der Schwalbenschwanzteile Nuten (5) zur Aufnahme von Schal4schutzplatten angeordnet. Diese bepflanzbaren Tröge können direkt miteinander verhängt werden oder über Säulenbausteine (1), die ebenfalls an allen Seiten ein Schwalbenschwanzteil (3 oder 4) und darüber eine Nut (5) aufweisen. Der Säulenbaustein weist ferner in seiner Mitte eine Oeffnung (2) zur Aufnahme eines Scharnierbolzens auf. Zum Bausatz gehören noch weitere Elemente, wie Verbindungs- und Auflagestücke und Schallschutzplatten. Daraus lassen sich eine grosse Vielfalt von Mauerwerken aller Art, beispielsweise bepflanzbare Schallschutzwände, aber auch Bachbettverbauungen oder Windfangmauern erstellen. Durch die Verzahnung über Schwalbenschwanzverbindungen ist eine vollständige Trockenbauweise möglich.

본 발명은 식물이 자라서 도로로 침범하거나 야생동물이 도로로 유입되는 것을 방지하는 다목적 매트에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 도로의 한쪽에 설치되는 도로블록과, 상기 도로블록과 연결되고 상기 도로를 벗어난 지면에서 식물이 자라서 상기 도로로 침범하거나 야생동물이 상기 도로로 유입되는 것을 차단하는 차단블록 및 상기 도로블록과 상기 차단블록 중 적어도 어느 블록을 상기 도로 또는 상기 지면 중 적어도 어느 한 곳에 고정하는 고정핀을 포함하는 제초 및 야생동물 차단용 다목적 매트에 의해 달성된다. 이에 따라, 도로의 다이크 기능과 방초 및 야생동물 차단 기능을 동시에 수행할 수 있고, 도로 옆의 지면 경사각에 대응할 수 있다.

A flooring element suitable for connection to other elements in a flooring system. The flooring element comprises a body, a female connector and a retainer. The body defines a connector surface that is horizontal when in use. The female connector comprises a connector recess which is suitable for receiving a male connector and also which defines a connector opening in the connector surface. The retainer is connectable to the body such that, while it is connected to the body, the retainer is movable between and open position and a closed position. When in the closed position, the retainer is arranged to restrict movement of the male connector to guard against the male connector exiting the connector recess through the connector opening. When in the open position, the retainer does not restrict movement of the male connector thereby permitting the male connector to exit the connector recess through the connector opening.
Abstract:
A two layer foam mat is described. The raw materials for each layer are separately mixed and heated in different batches, and separately pressed through heated rollers to form a plurality of sheets. One or more sheets from each batch are stacked together in a press and heated above a foaming temperature to permit the stacked sheets to foam and expand. The press restricts the sheets from vertical expansion while allowing horizontal expansion. Once the sheets are foamed, a series of alternating teeth and receiving slots can be cut around the boundary of the mat to form an interlocking peripheral wall. The layers preferably have the same chemical composition after foaming, even though the layers are formed from different batches and may have different colors and/or textures.
