Abstract: A mat for hidden-type splicing includes a mat body and a splicing bottom base connected thereto. Sides of the splicing bottom base are formed with two adjacent convex parts and two adjacent concave parts. The convex part has a convex part connection surface disposed corresponding to and being flush with a side edge of the mat body. Outwardly convex splicing teeth are disposed on the convex part connection surface and protrude outside the side edge, and adjacent two of which have a splicing outer groove formed therebetween. The concave part has a concave part connection surface disposed corresponding to and being flush with another side edge of the mat body. Inwardly concave splicing grooves are disposed in the concave part connection surface, and adjacent two of which have a splicing inner tooth formed therebetween. The mat body completely covers the two concave parts located therebelow.

Abstract: A flooring module (100) for forming a temporary access floor comprises a base component (1) defining a cruciform channel formation (3, 4) for receiving cabling or the like. The channels (3, 4) have a floor (1A) defined by the base component and a removable channel cover (2). The channel cover (2) comprises one or more channel cover components for covering the channel formation, such that the channel formation and channel cover may combine to provide a closed channel for the cabling or the like. Removal of the cover (2) allows access to the channel formation from above, in use. The sides of the base component (1) define module connector clips (20, 21) for engaging with corresponding module connector clips on adjacent modules to lock the modules together in an array. The base component (1) defines retaining formations (13, 14) for engaging with and retaining the channel cover components over the channel formation. The channel cover (2) engages against one or more of the module connector clips (20, 21) when in the clips are in the closed position so as to limit deflection of the module connector clips (20, 21) and thus prevent disengagement of the module clips from the module clips of an adjacent flooring module in an array of flooring modules. The sides of the module preferably also include a plurality of levelling clips (41, 42) which define upward and downward facing engagement faces to prevent vertical misalignment of the modules.

Abstract: Lock and fold floor covering panels can be installed by angling a long locking edge into a previously installed row of panels and dropping or locking the projection of the tongue of the short side into the depression of the lower lip forming the groove in the short side. By incorporating a force increasing means in the fold joint, the width of the panels that can be installed with a lock and fold system can be increased beyond the conventionally accepted 3.5 inches. The fold joint is designed to permit it to be engaged, disengaged and reengaged without damaging the fold joint.

Abstract: A decking system that consists of a clip that complements a slot in deck planks to securely fasten the deck planks to a substrate such as deck or floor joists, masonry, concrete, wood or any other substrate. Generally, the clips fit into slots cut or formed into the side deck surface boards or alternatively into a keyhole on the bottom of the plank. In one of the preferred embodiments a series of clips are fastened to the substrate with a fastener such as a screw. The clips mechanically grip the plank to secure the plank to the deck joists. Ridges and/or nubs on the clips reduce the occurrence of rot or discoloration of the planks.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a sub-flooring assembly. The disclosed assembly includes at least two rectangular sections. Each of the sections have first and second ends and first and second sides. A male component extends outwardly from the first end of each of the sections. The male component has a flange proximate a free end thereof. An opening is disposed on the second end of each of the sections. The opening extends into the section to form a cavity. A pocket is formed in the cavity. The flange of one of the sections is removably received in the pocket of another of the sections for detachably securing the first end of one of the sections to the second end of another of the sections.

Abstract: Tile panel assemblies and systems of manufacturing and installing said tile panels. The tile panels of the subject invention can be used as a covering for walls, roofs, siding, etc. on a variety of structures. In one embodiment, the tiles are manufactured of a lightweight concrete having sufficient strength to withstand extreme weather and wind conditions, as well as normal handling or foot traffic required for installation and maintenance. In a further embodiment, the tiles of the subject invention comprise insulation, preferably foam, affixed thereto. The tile panels are constructed so as to present an overlapping configuration and selectively interlocking systems that provide resistance to negative pressure wind uplifting and enhanced insulation properties. Also disclosed is a tile bracket apparatus that can secure the leading edge of a tile to prevent wind-uplift.
