Abstract:
Building panels 1, 1′ provided with a mechanical locking system including a tongue 30, at an edge of a first panel 1, cooperating with a tongue groove 20, at an edge of an adjacent second panel 1′, for vertical locking of the building panels. The edge of the first panel is provided with a displacement groove 60, which is downwardly open, and includes an inner wall 61, an outer wall 62, and an upper wall 67. The tongue 30 is formed out of the edge of the first panel. A resilient and displaceable and part 66 of the tongue 30 is displaceable into the displacement groove 60.
Abstract:
Floor panel, with a horizontally and vertically active locking system allowing that two of such floor panels can be connected to each other at said sides by providing one of these floor panels, by means of a downward movement, in the other floor panel; wherein the vertically active locking system comprises a locking element in the form of an insert; wherein this locking element comprises at least a pivotable lock-up body; characterized in that the pivotable lock-up body comprises a support portion which is rotatable against a support surface pertaining to the floor panel concerned, and more particularly in a seat.

Abstract:
Floor panel for forming a floor covering, which comprises at least one pair of two opposite sides (2-3); wherein this floor panel (1), at this pair of opposite sides (2- 3), comprises coupling parts (6-7) allowing to couple the floor panel (1) to similar floor panels; wherein these coupling parts (6-7), in coupled condition, provide a locking in vertical as well as in horizontal direction; wherein this floor panel (1) has a core (16) which consists of at least two core material parts (39-40), which are provided as a sandwich structure between an upper layer (41) and a bottom layer (42), and which respectively extend up to one of said two sides (2-3); wherein the coupling parts (6-7), at least at one of said sides (3), comprise a locking element (43) in the form of an insert, which is mounted in the core material part (40) present there, which locking element (43) is of the type which, in the coupled condition of two of such floor panels (1), effects a locking in vertical direction; characterized in that said two core material parts (39-40) consist of a different basic material or a basic material with different properties.
Abstract:
A flooring system comprising rectangular floorboards (1,1') provided with connecting means which are mechanically lockable by angling along an upper joint edge of the long sides, the connecting means comprising a separate strip (6) of metal which is mechanically joined to a first floorboard (1), wherein - the strip comprises a locking element configured to cooperate with a locking groove of a second adjacent floorboard (1'), - the strip is attached to a horizontally open groove at an edge of the first floorboard (1) - a lower lip of the groove is provided with an upwardly facing groove, for positioning of the strip, - the lower lip of the groove extends beyond the vertical plane (VP) of the floorboard, - a first pair of strip portions (Db1,Db2) cooperates with the groove in order to prevent downward bending of the outer part (7) of the strip (6) in case of tension load, - a second pair of strip portions (Ub1,Ub2) cooperates with the groove in order to prevent upward bending of the outer part (7) of the strip so that the strip does not come loose during handling before laying, and - a third pair of strip portions (IP,OP) cooperates with the groove for positioning the strip in its inner and outer position relative to the vertical plane VP.
Abstract:
Floor panel, with a horizontally and vertically active locking system (6-7) allowing that two of such floor panels (1) can be connected to each other at said sides (2-3) by providing one of these floor panels (1), by means of a downward movement (M), in the other floor panel (1); wherein the vertically active locking system (7) comprises a locking element (12) in the form of an insert; wherein this locking element (12) comprises at least a pivotable lock-up body (14); characterized in that the pivotable lock-up body (14) comprises a support portion (20) which is rotatable against a support surface (21) pertaining to the floor panel (1) concerned, and more particularly in a seat (22).
Abstract:
Floorboards for mechanical joining of floors in a herringbone pattern and in parallel rows with horizontal connecting means which on the short sides have cooperating locking surfaces which are designed differently from the cooperating locking surfaces on the long sides.
