Abstract:
Tiles molded of thermoset plastic are provided with structure to retain the tiles in their desired position on an exterior surface of a substrate when subjected to repeated freeze-thaw cycles. The tiles are provided with an array of anchors that extend outwardly from the substrate facing surface of the tiles. The anchors have a stretching portion which will allow for some movement imposed by freezing and thawing conditions and will return to its desired position during warmer conditions. The anchors have substrate engaging portions at their distal ends.
Abstract:
A four sided tile, particularly for paving, flooring or cladding includes a first side edge, a second slide edge parallel with shorter than the first side edge, and third and fourth side edges which are not parallel. The length of the shorter side edges is the same and the sum of their length is equal to the length of the larger side. The side edges are preferable curved with radii of equal length.
Abstract:
An artificial flagstone for use in combination with other similar flagstones for covering a surface with a natural random look, the flagstone having a generally hexagonal body comprising a first, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth consecutive vertices; a first pair of first and second sides extending radially from the first vertex; a second pair of third and fourth sides extending radially from the third vertex; a third pair of fifth and sixth sides extending radially from the fifth vertex; wherein the sides of at least one of the first, second and third pair of sides have at least one split deviation along their length and are respectively rotational images of each other, and the artificial flagstone has no rotational symmetry when rotated about a central axis.

Abstract:
A component, such as a title or a floorboard, has electro-conductive properties for producing a floor covering, or a similar system, in particular for a medium sensitive to static electricity. The component includes a stack of layers integral with one another and including successively: a wearing layer of plastic consisting of granules of conductive material spread out through the thickness of said wearing layer, a first textile reinforcing armature, a middle layer of plastic comprising granules of conductive material spread out through the thickness of said middle layer, a second textile reinforcing armature, and an under layer of plastic material consisting of granules of conductive material spread out through the thickness of said under layer.
Abstract:
A puzzle and game flooring is disclosed. The puzzle and game flooring comprises a plurality of flooring tiles and a plurality of puzzle pieces. The flooring tiles interlock to form a flooring for a room. The puzzle pieces are arranged in the flooring tiles by a user to solve puzzles. The puzzle pieces are formed in the shape of specific land masses or pieces of a game board. Each puzzle piece comprises information about the puzzle, the puzzle piece, or the game. Once the puzzle pieces have been arranged to solve a puzzle or create a game board, a plurality of game pieces are used to play a game on top of the puzzle pieces.

Abstract:
The tapered dovetail joint is a method of joining two boards, or other rigid materials such as particleboard, wafer board, etc., by a unique type of modified dovetail joint. The modification to the classic dovetail joint includes tapering the dovetail pins as well as the dovetail tails with the same angle of taper in the same direction. The mating of this tapered dovetail joint will be greatly facilitated due to these corresponding tapers. The tapered nature of this joint minimizes difficulties in assembly due to the wedging action that takes place as the two boards are brought into union to create the joint. This wedging action allows the joint to be assembled even when there is moderate damage to the tails or pins including swelling—due to moisture, from the time of manufacture to time of assembly, impact damage, as well as minor manufacturing tolerance deficiencies in cutting of the pins and tails.
