Abstract:
An apparatus for connecting two pipes in fluid communication is provided. The apparatus comprises a connector body having opposing open ends, each open end configured for receiving a free end of a pipe; a mechanical interlock arrangement, for preventing or limiting axial movement of the connector body relative to a free end of a pipe when the free end of the pipe is received in an open end of the connector body; and a mechanical seal arrangement for providing a metal-to-metal seal between a pipe inserted into one of said open ends and the connector body.
Abstract:
Urea feed or return line (2) that comprises a hollow coupling (1) enabling it to be connected to a urea tank and that comprises a passage for the urea, this coupling being, in addition, equipped with a heating filament (9), at least one part of which extends freely inside the passage provided for the urea, this part having the shape of a loop or a spiral capable of also extending at least partly into the tank and/or into a tube attached thereto.
Abstract:
A clamp assembly comprising a clamp including a band (22) and a screw housing (26) mounted to said band with a worm screw (24) disposed in said screw housing, said worm screw engaging said band (22) for tightening said band; and a cover bracket (30) having an opening for receiving said screw housing (26), said coyer bracket including a cover portion (32) for the screw housing and a bonding surface extending from the cover for attaching the cover bracket (30) to a hose (10), the bonding surface extending from the cover portion (32) to a position on the hose that is displaced from the screw (23) and the screw housing (26) such that the cover bracket (30) can be adhered to the hose (10) without interfering with the clamp assembly.

Abstract:
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint that is inexpensive, can be installed easily, and can prevent random connection cancellation. SOLUTION: The pipe joint (1) comprises a body (2) having an aperture (3) for accommodating a pipe; and a collet (4) for clamping the pipe so that it can be canceled in the aperture. The collet has a cancellation section (5) for canceling the pipe by applying inward pressure in the axial direction. A guard (6) provides a support surface (6a) at a position that is the same as the length of the cancellation section being extended in the axial direction from the aperture or is separated from it. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent accidental release of female and male couplings movable in an axial direction and capable of quick attachment/detachment for connection of the fluid under a high pressure. SOLUTION: This mounting stopper 1 includes a recess installed at a first position around a shaft 32 of the stopper, and arranged movable on the shaft 32 to a second position in a radial lateral direction. A least one of stopper lugs 6, 7, 9, 10 is arranged at the first position applied in a groove 34, so as to avoid the male and female couplings from moving toward each other in an axial direction. Also, the stopper includes a male part 32 provided in the coupling. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
