Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin lined steel pipe with end corrosive protection core used for piping and the like for snow removal, water supply, air-conditioning, fire-fighting and drainage and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the steel pipe, resin lined pipe with the corrosive protection core at a tube end, which is used when connected by a coupling not having an end corrosive protection function, having an adhesive layer on an inner surface of a steel pipe or a steel pipe galvanized on its outer surface, has a polyolefin resin layer or cross-linked polyolefin resin layer on its further inner side, the steel pipe is given substrate treatment on its inner surface in advance, the substrate treatment forms a phosphate chemical conversion coating treated for grain refinement, and is provided at its end with a corrosive protection core formed by a cylindrical part having dimensions and rigidity enabling strong fitting to the end inner surface of the resin lined steel pipe and a flange part having a shape and rigidity enabling attachment, then close fitting to the end while completely covering the end face of the resin lined steel pipe, the outer surface of the cylindrical part is provided with circumferential grooves, the material is a high corrosion resistance metal, and the corrosive protection core closely fit with a rubber ring at an inner surface of its flange part is provided to the tube end. Abstract:
Method and apparatus for producing a curved tubular segment comprising obtaining a curved external tubular element and a curved internal tubular element made of a material having a resistance to wear greater than that of the curved external tubular element and having a cross section such as to cover at least part of the internal surface of the curved external tubular element. It provides the insertion of the curved internal tubular element inside the curved external tubular element after heating the latter by means of a heating unit. Moreover, to form the curved external tubular element on the exact geometry of the curved internal tubular element a molding unit and a cooling unit are used to obtain a curved tubular segment without spaces between the curved external tubular element and the curved internal tubular element.
Abstract:
A co-polymer composition for coating porous structural material includes a compatible surfactant resulting in a structural inter-bonding between the coating composition and the structural material. The co-polymer composition cured in a layer of unsupported foam has sufficient strength to be used as a substitute for comparably or larger sized layers of re-enforced concrete for conducting fluids while resisting compressive loads. A co-polymer foam composition for coating structural material cures to have an atmosphere-facing surface that is substantially impervious to corrosive substance penetration.
