Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain reduction in size of a television receiver and an electronic apparatus as an example.SOLUTION: The television receiver according to an embodiment includes a housing, a display device, a circuit board, and a connector. The housing is provided with a first opening and a second opening. The display device has a display surface exposed from the first opening, and is housed in the housing. The circuit board is housed in the housing. The connector is mounted on the circuit board to be exposed from the second opening, and is inserted into an external connector. The connector includes a terminal which is electrically connected to the external connector and an insulating holding part which holds the terminal, and has a base part provided by a separate member other than the housing and a second hooking part which is provided in the housing and by which a first hooking part of the external connector is hooked.
Abstract:
A coaxial connector mountable on an end of a coaxial cable having a central conductor (cc) and an exterior conductor (ce), the connector comprising a first conductive contact element (2; 27; 38; 40) for contacting the central conductor (cc), a second conductive contact element (4; 21; 302; 411) for contacting the exterior conductor (ce) electrically isolated from the first contact element, a clamping member (5; 22; 42) opposing the second contact element for clamping the exterior conductor against the second contact element and a force applying member (6; 23; 441) for forcing the clamping member and the second contact element towards each other, wherein the second contact element and/or the clamping member comprise at least one deforming member (502; 222-223; 423-424) for deforming the exterior conductor (ce) under influence of the force applying member, wherein each deforming member (502; 222-223; 423- 424) is constructed in a material with a predetermined hardness above that of the material of the exterior conductor and has a predetermined shape for hardening a portion of the exterior conductor to such an extent that it becomes substantially fully elastic.
Abstract:
A tamper-resistant coaxial terminator includes an inner body rotatably captivated within an outer shield. A deformable portion of the inner body extends within an annular recess formed in the outer shield. An optional RF port, containing a resistor, is press-fit within the inner body. The RF port, or alternatively, the inner body, is internally-threaded for engaging the outer conductor of an equipment port. A seal ring extends over the outer conductor of the equipment port and is urged by the outer shield to directly engage the internally-threaded portion of the terminator. A seal is also optionally disposed between the outer shield and the inner body to minimize moisture induced corrosion. A shipping cap, usable at either end of the terminator, helps protect the terminator during shipment and prevents entry of debris.
Abstract:
A distributor apparatus (10) for television and satellite units, of the modular type, suitable for distributing the television and/or satellite signal towards the derived plugs (18A, 18B, 18C, 18D) connected to the unit; the distributor (10) can be installed in residential, industrial or commercial buildings, inside DIN panels or cabinets and is housed in a container (41) or modular DIN case (41) with a recessed profile, in order to satisfy the situations where the unit needs both a large modular capacity and to be pleasing to the eye.
Abstract:
A video signal connection apparatus comprises an array of individual video signal connector contacts arranged in a matrix having connector contact rows and connector contact columns, the individual video signal connector contacts extending in a first connection direction, a connector having individual connector contacts corresponding in number to the individual video signal connector contacts of the array, the individual connector contacts extending in a second connection direction, the second connection direction being orthogonal to the first connection direction and conductors interconnecting the individual video signal connector contacts to the individual connector contacts.
