PURPOSE: A method for updating system software in a digital broadcasting receiver and the digital broadcasting receiver are provided to quickly update system software without respect to a bit rate of a broadcasting signal, thereby realizing maximum resource efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A descriptor including system software update information is received(S501). The system software update information of the descriptor is decoded so that a value of a field is determined(S502). The field defines a type of a system software update service. If the value of the field corresponds to an access communication type in a home, access information defined in the system software update information(S503).
Abstract:
PURPOSE: An integration de-puncturing device and a method in isdb-t system for using a multi layer are provided to integrate three layer structures into one by using a pattern table. CONSTITUTION: An index table(200) stores index information and an index value according to the index information. A code rate detecting unit(300) detects coding rate of received ISDB stream sequence. A de-puncturing processing unit(400) confirms index information value stored in a table as a module through the code rate of the ISDB stream sequence detected through the code rate detecting unit. The de-puncturing processing unit performs sequence decoding of ISDB stream according to the confirmed index information.

본 발명은 DVD, 네트워크카메라, VCR, 인터넷, 전화, 텔레비젼 등과 같은 영상 및 음성데이터를 통합하여 관리 및 제공하고, 배선 선로를 UPT 케이블을 사용하므로써, 멀티미디어 정보를 원활하게 제공하며, 설치 및 유지 보수를 효율적으로 할 수 있으며, 그에 따라 비용을 절감할 수 있는 복합형 멀티미디어 방송시스템을 제공한다. 본 발명에 따른 복합형 멀티미디어 방송시스템은 제어장치(20), 신호변조부(30),네트워크허브(40) 및 송·수신 제어장치부(50)를 포함하고, 제어장치(20), 신호변조부(30), 네트워크허브(40) 및 송·수신 제어장치부(50)는 비차폐 연선케이블(200)을 통해 신호를 송·수신하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 제어장치(20)는 주통신장치(100)와 접속되어 주통신장치(100)로부터 수신받은 영상 및 음성데이터 신호들에 관한 제어 및 관리를 수행한다. 신호변조부(30)는 제어장치(20)와 접속되어 제어장치(20)로부터 제어된 영상 및 음성데이터 신호를 수신받아 수신된 영상 및 음성데이터 신호를 단일방송신호로 정합한 후, 정합된 단일방송신호를 방송용 무선주파수 신호로 변조한다. 네트워크허브(40)는 신호변조부(30)와 접속되어 신호변조부(30)에서 변조된 신호를 중간에서 전송한다. 송·수신 제어장치부(50)는 송신장치(52)와 수신장치(54)를 구비하고, 네트워크허브(40)와 접속되어 신호변조부(30)로부터 수신받은 신호를 해당 수신장치(52)에 전송하고, 송신장치(54)로부터 송신된 신호를 신호변조부(30)로 전송하기 위한 것이다. 방송시스템, 비차폐 연선케이블{UTP케이블(Unshielded Twisted Pair)}

A method for updating software of a broadcasting receiver is provided to update a module of a specific group which is not mentioned in ETSI TS(European Telecommunications Standards Institute Technical Specification) 102 006. An SSU(Systems Software Update) location descriptor including a field which designates specific software in broadcasting receivers of a specific group is received and software of the broadcasting receivers is updated. The SSU location descriptor further includes a field used to confirm the descriptor. The SSU location descriptor further includes a field which designates the number of bytes of a following descriptor. The SSU location descriptor further includes a field which defines a transport mechanism.

A digital broadcasting receiver is provided to transmit codes of products to a mobile communication terminal by means of an RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) method. A broadcasting receiving member(100) receives a broadcasting signal. A broadcasting reproducing member(200) processes and reproduces the received broadcasting signal. A product code extracting member(300) extracts a product code included into the broadcasting signal. A transmitting member(400) transmits the extracted product code by RF(Radio Frequency). A control member(500) entirely controls the device and outputs the extracted product code to a transmission member.

PURPOSE: A display apparatus and a channel searching method are provided to relatively increase the speed when searching a channel. CONSTITUTION: A channel searching method comprises the steps of: receiving a first broadcasting signal according to an automatic channel searching command(S210); analyzing the received first broadcasting signal; and judging the transfer standard of the received first broadcasting signal; and setting up the channel searching mode for automatically searching a channel according to the transfer standard of the first broadcasting signal(S240).

PURPOSE: A method for searching a channel of a digital broadcasting receiver is provided to compare broadcasting signals to select and store only a relatively superior broadcasting signal, thereby preventing the same broadcasting from being doubly watched. CONSTITUTION: It is checked whether a channel that broadcasting starts to search exists(S10). If the broadcasting exists in the channel, broadcasting information of the channel is searched. An IF AGC(Automatic Gain Control) level and a BER(Bit Error Rate) are checked. Broadcasting channel information and IF AGC level information are saved in a memory unit. It is determined whether a channel is changed.

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for downloading software program for cable broadcasting are provided to download software program at a desirable point of time. CONSTITUTION: A tuner receives software download code information, and a user interface unit(640) displays information or commands. The user interface receives the information and command from a user, and a control unit(610) judges based on the download code information whether or not the software downloading operation is an illegal operation. When the downloading is legal, the control unit determines a software download mode based on previously-set preset host mode information.

PURPOSE: A receiving channel control device of a broadcasting signal receiver and a method thereof are provided to receive a broadcast signal of a channel in which an offset frequency exists at high speed. CONSTITUTION: A receiving channel control device of a broadcasting signal receiver comprises a tuner(300), a demodulator(310), a demultiplexer(320), an AV signal decoder(330), a program information processor(340), a user interface(350). According to a channel desired to be received, the tuner receives a broadcast signal of a corresponding channel by setting up the frequency of PLL. The demodulator demodulates the broadcast signal. The demultiplexer demultiplexes the demodulation signal to extract an AV signal and program information. The AV signal decoder part decodes the AV signal. The program information processor processes the program information. The user interface controls the tuner, demodulator, demultiplexer, AV signal decoder and program information processor according to a user instruction inputted from the outside.

A broadcast transceiver and a broadcast signal processing method are provided to multiplex mobile service data with main service data in a parade structure, thereby reducing the electricity of a receiving system. A DTV(Digital Television) broadcast signal is received. The pre-processing of enhanced data is performed at a broadcasting transmitter. The pre-processed enhanced data and transmission parameters are combined. The combined transmission parameters and enhanced data and normal data are multiplexed. The normal data is multiplexed. The multiplexed transmission parameters, enhanced data, and normal data are interleaved. It is received based on the information about the detected encoding method. A DTV broadcast signal received based on information about a detected encoding method is decoded.
