Abstract:
The described embodiments are directed to the line testing of signals applied to the outputs of a line test signal generating device and used for determining one or more subscriber line parameters.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and a device for checking a subscriber line comprising a first and a second lead, connected via respective subscriber line circuits to a coder/decoder. The first lead is connected to ground and the resistance of the second lead is increased, thereby triggering the coder/decoder to emit an audio signal to the first lead measure a first frequency-selective signal on the connection of the coder/decoder to the first lead. The second lead is then connected to ground, a resistance of the first lead is increased to a high value, the coder/decoder emits an additional audio signal to the second lead and measures a second frequency-selective signal on the connection of the coder/decoder to the second lead. At the end of the two sequential measuring sequences, an amplitude difference between the first and the second frequency-selective signal is determined and is then treated as a parameter for an unwanted imbalance of the subscriber line.
Abstract:
A call processing system is disclosed wherein plural platforms (208-212) are populated with plural voice boards (301-305). Each board (301-305) on the different platforms (208-212) is populated with different resources, and resources may be allocated from any board and any platform to process calls. In a preferred implementation, a priority system is established so that co-located resources are preferred.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection apparatus and a connection method, which can interconnect a single-sided conference terminal and a multiscreen conference terminal using multiple video images without requiring complicated operation for a user. SOLUTION: The connection apparatus includes: an address storing section for storing address information of a single-screen conference terminal and address information of the connection apparatus; a media information acquiring section for acquiring information on media which can be handled by a plurality of single-screen conference terminals and storing the information collectively as first media information; a session control section for acquiring second media information which is information on media handled by the multiscreen conference terminals and establishing a session for the multiscreen conference terminals using the address information of the connection apparatus and the first media information acquired by the media information acquiring section; and a media control section for establishing a session for the single-screen conference terminals using the second media information acquired by the session control section and controlling media transmission and reception of the single-screen conference terminals.
