Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly convenient facsimile apparatus reducing a risk of information leakage.
SOLUTION: A facsimile apparatus 10 has a setting recorder 28, a communicator 32, an availability calculator 14, a determining part 34, and a controller 22. The setting recorder 28 records setting information for a facsimile transmission job. The communicator 32 executes the facsimile transmission job based on the setting information. The availability calculator 14 calculates the available number of facsimile transmission jobs. The determining part 34 determines whether or not use by a user is completed based on the available number of processable jobs when the facsimile transmission job is interrupted. The controller 22 erases the record contents in the setting recorder 28 when the determining part 34 determines that use by a user is completed during interruption of the facsimile transmission job. On the other hand, the controller 22 does not erase the record contents in the setting recorder 28 when the determining part 34 determines that use by a user is not completed.
