The method includes the following: wireless pairing the wearable electronic device to at least one of a smart device or a vehicle controller onboard a vehicle; delegating control of the vehicle feature to the wearable electronic device using at least one of the smart device or the vehicle controller such that a wearer of the wearable electronic device can control the vehicle feature using the wearable electronic device; and operating the vehicle feature based on commands generated by the user using the wearable electronic device.

Also disclosed is a universal remote controller including a display area on the remote controller, an advertisement controller in communication with an advertisement platform to receive advertisements and to display them on the display area, and an event analyzer to analyze usage data of the universal remote controller and to provide events performed by a user of the remote controller to the advertisement controller. The advertisement controller defines requests to the advertisement platform as a function of the events.

The subject of the invention is a process for the operation of electronic devices by universal remote control and for collecting, utilising and transmitting the operating parameters of such devices for the purposes of analysis. The operation of the invention is described below: the administrator downloads the application from an external server to his/her own mobile device (I); - he/she registers on the external server, creates his/her own profile (II); - he/she logs in (III); - the administrator selects the devices he/she wishes to control from a list of controllable devices automatically detected by the application (IV); the application automatically downloads the user interfaces corresponding to the selected devices from the external server to the administrator's mobile device and in doing so, renders the selected devices remotely controllable from his/her mobile device, while at the same time assigning the selected devices to the administrator's profile (V); - the administrator, using the application, defines which pieces of information pertaining to the controlled devices should be sent to the analytical module for storage and analysis, and which should be accessible to third parties via the Internet (VI); from that time on, the administrator uses his/her profile to create subprofiles for other users that grant the authorisations necessary to control the devices he/she designates (VII). A further subject of the invention is a schematic for the operation of the above process.
