Abstract: The invention provides a lubricant composition containing (A) an ionic liquid having an anion represented by formula 1: (Rf1-SO2) (Rf2-SO2) N− or formula 2: (Rf3) (Rf3) (Rf3) PF3− wherein Rf1 and Rf2 in formula 1 may be the same or different and are each F, CF3, C2F5, C3F7 or C4F9, and Rf3 in formula 2 may be the same or different and is CF3, C2F5, C3F7 or C4F9; and (B) a fatty acid amine salt in an amount of 0.1 to 5.0 mass %, The lubricant composition of the invention can favorably be used under a high vacuum or an ultra high vacuum, or under high temperatures, and exhibits excellent rust prevention properties.

Abstract: The present invention provides a grease composition (7) which has a low friction and a low viscosity and is durable at a high temperature and a grease-sealed bearing (1) in which the grease composition is enclosed. The grease composition contains base oil, a thickener, and an additive. The base oil contains an ionic liquid consisting of a cation component and an anion component. The additive contains a corrosion inhibitor such as nitrites, molybdates or dibasic acid salts. The thickener is fluorine resin such as polytetrafluoroethylene. The grease composition (7) is applied to a periphery of each rolling element (4) of the grease-sealed bearing (1).

Abstract: Certain preferred embodiments of the present invention relate to compositions for the production of sintered molded parts, components/parts produced therefrom, and methods for preparing such compositions. In accordance with certain embodiments, compositions for production of sintered molded parts comprise a metal-based, a ceramic-based, and/or a polymer-based powder, and a compaction aid, having 25 to 60 weight percent of a polyglycol, based on the total weight of the compaction aid, and 40 to 75 weight percent of a montan wax, based on the total weight of the compaction aid. The compaction aid may be present in an amount from about 0.1 to 5 weight percent, preferably 0.5 to 1.5 weight percent, based on the total weight of the composition. The composition may also include a lubricant such as, for example, MoS2, WS2, BN, MnS, and/or carbon.
