Abstract: The invention relates to a thermoplastic composition comprising A) aromatic polycarbonate, B) 0.1 to 5 wt.-% one or more polyether polyols and C) 0.01 to 0.30 wt.-% 3,3′-thiodipropionic acid. The invention also relates to medical technology products or parts of medical technology products consisting of such compositions as well as to a process for sterilization of such moulded parts by means of irradiation. The polycarbonate compositions according to the invention show significantly less yellowing after irradiation than known compositions and still have good mechanical properties.

Abstract: Provided is: a thermally conductive silicone gel composition which has a high thermal conductivity, and has excellent gap-filling ability and repairability; a thermally conductive member comprising the thermally conductive silicone gel composition; and a heat dissipation structure using the same. The thermally conductive silicone gel composition comprises: (A) an alkenyl group-containing organopolysiloxane; (B) a straight-chain organohydrogenpolysiloxane containing an average of 2 to 4 silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms per molecule, at least two of the hydrogen atoms are being located on a side chain of the molecular chain, wherein the amount of silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms in component (B) is 0.2 to 5 mol with respected to 1 mol of an alkenyl group contained in component (A); (C) a catalyst for hydrosilylation reaction; (D) a thermally conductive filler; and (E) an alkoxysilane having an alkyl group with 6 or more carbon atoms per molecule.

Abstract: A colorized and tribologically modified polyoxymethylene polymer composition is disclosed. The polyoxymethylene polymer composition is comprised of a polyoxymethylene polymer in combination with at least one tribological modifier. The tribological modifier may include a fluoropolymer. The polymer composition further contains at least one coloring agent in combination with a color stabilizer. The color stabilizer has been found to dramatically improve color consistency. Polymer articles molded from the polymer composition not only have excellent surface appearance but have excellent low friction characteristics when tested against aluminum.

Abstract: The invention provides a polyolefin-based resin film formed from a polypropylene-based resin composition and containing, in a total of 100 parts by weight of the polypropylene-based resin composition, 20-95 parts by weight of a propylene-α olefin random copolymer containing a metallocene-based olefin polymerization catalyst; 0-75 parts by weight of a propylene-α olefin random copolymer containing a Ziegler-Natta-based olefin polymerization catalyst; and 5-15 parts by weight of at least one type of an elastomer selected from the group consisting of an ethylene-butene copolymer elastomer, a propylene-butene copolymer elastomer, and an ethylene-propylene copolymer elastomer, wherein a heat shrinkage ratio in a direction in which a heat shrinkage ratio is larger among a longitudinal direction and a width direction of the polyolefin-based resin film is 1-10%, and an orientation coefficient ΔNx in an x-axis direction calculated from a refractive index of the polyolefin-based resin film is 0.0130-0.0250.

The reaction products may include a thermoplastic vulcanizate, a functionalized polymer, and an inorganic filler.
