Abstract: Devices and methods for operating a diaphragm compressor system provide high output pressure and high throughput. In some embodiments, modular diaphragm compressors are stacked with a clamping mechanism pressing the compressor modules together. In embodiments, multiple stacks are provided as stages of a pressurization process. In embodiments, a main stage valve controls one or more pressure circuits for one or more hydraulic actuators of compressor modules. In embodiments, orifices configured for damping are incorporated to control actuator piston movement within a compressor module.

Abstract: Devices and methods for operating a diaphragm compressor. Embodiments of the present disclosure comprise an oil piston being driven to pressurize work oil against the diaphragm of the compressor. In embodiments, an injection pump provides a supplemental flow of work oil in the region of pressurized fluid, and such pump may be part of an actively controlled system. In embodiments, a pressure relief valve vents an overpump flow of work oil, and such valve may be variable. Embodiments provide feedback and control mechanisms, including control of the injection pump and the relief valve.

Abstract: A chamber pump (10) and a method for operating same are provided. Abstract: When a plunger of a high pressure pump is rising, a high pressure pump controller closes a regulator valve by energizing a solenoid of an electromagnetic actuator of the high pressure pump to discharge fuel into a delivery pipe. Further, this fuel discharge energization is stopped before the plunger reaches top dead center at a pump TDC timing. Further, a fuel pressure of the delivery pipe is detected at the pump TDC timing, and based on that detected value, a time Td from the pump TDC timing until a valve opening timing of the regulator valve is estimated. Once the estimated time Td elapses from the pump TDC timing, the solenoid is reenergized to removed a movement speed of a movable portion in a direction that pushes the regulator valve in an opening direction.

Abstract: A fluid infusion device includes a pump having a rotor and a stator. A rotor cam element rises from a reference surface of the rotor. The stator includes a cam element having a stator cam surface. The cam elements axially displace the rotor as the rotor revolves. Inlet and outlet valves open and close as a function of angular and axial position of the rotor. A motor actuates the rotor to pump fluid to a body, via a subcutaneous conduit. First and second contact elements are located on the rotor. A sensing element on the stator cooperates with a detection circuit to detect when the sensing element makes contact with the first sensor contact element and the second sensor contact element. The detection circuit monitors a detection signal obtained from the sensing element to determine an operating condition of the fluid pump mechanism.

Abstract: An artificial lifting system is disclosed. The artificial lifting system comprises an elongated cylinder fixed to a base or ground. The elongated cylinder receives a piston rod axially movable therein. The piston rod engages a downhole rod pump for driving the rod pump reciprocating uphole and downhole to pump downhole fluid to the surface. A control unit controls the axial movement of the piston rod, and automatically adjust the system operation to adapt to drift of the top and bottom stop positions of the piston rod. In an alternative embodiment, the system further comprises a dump valve controlled by the control unit to prevent over-stroke. In another embodiment, the system further comprises a chemical injection unit for injecting treatment fluid to a wellbore under the control of the control unit.

Abstract: A bellows pump device includes first and second bellows mounted on a pump head so as to be expandable/contractible independently of each other and configured to suck a fluid from a suction passage thereinto by expansion thereof and discharge the fluid therefrom to a discharge passage by contraction thereof. First and second air cylinder portions are configured to respectively cause the first and second bellows to perform expansion/contraction operation. First and second detection devices are configured to detect expanded/contracted states of the first and second bellows, respectively. A control unit is configured to control drive of the first and second air cylinder portions on the basis of each of detection signals of the first and second detection devices such that, before one bellows comes into a most contracted state, the other bellows is caused to contract from a most expanded state.
