Abstract:
An aqueous lubricant used for plastic working of metallic material which comprises (A) a water soluble inorganic salt, (B) lubricative agent selected from molybdenum disulfide and graphite and (C) wax, wherein the components are dissolved or dispersed in water, and wherein a concentration ratio (weight ratio) of (B) /(A) is in the range of 1.0 SIMILAR 5.0 and (C) / (A) is 0.1 SIMILAR 1. 0. And a method of lubricative film processing on a metallic material, in that the lubricative film formed by applying the aqueous lubricant is in a dried weight of 0.5 SIMILAR 40g/m . A water soluble inorganic salt (A) is preferably selected from the group consisting of a sulfate, a silicate, a borate, a molybdete and a tungstate. The wax (C) is preferably a natural wax or a synthetic wax which is dispersed in water and has a melting point of 70 SIMILAR 150 DEG C. The aqueous lubricant can be used for imparting excellent lubricity with ease to the surface of a metal having no chemical conversion layer formed thereon.
Abstract:
A rolling bearing which has a satisfactory life at a low cost even under such service conditions that water is incorporated into a lubricant either externally or due to dew condensation, or that vibration has an influence, and is particularly suitable for electrical equipment and accessories of automobile engines, such as alternators. The hydrogen ion index pH of a grease scaled in the interior of the bearing is adjusted to 7 to 13. For attaining similar effects, the pH of the grease is adjusted to 5 to 13 when an organic metal salt or ADTC has been added in a predetermined amount to the grease, when an inorganic compound having an average particle diameter of not more than 2 Ám has been added in a predetermined amount to the grease, or when a diurea compound containing an aromatic amine or a mixture of diurea compounds has been added as a thickening agent to the grease.
Abstract:
A constant-velocity joint having a boot and containing a lubricating grease that will not deteriorate the boot of the CVJ while maintaining required torque transmission performance. The constant-velocity joint is filled with a lubricating grease, and the tubular boot is made from a thermoplastic polyester elastomer. The grease contains a base oil, a thickener in the form of a lithium soap such as lithium 12 hydroxystearate or a lithium complex, and extreme-pressure additives in the form of molybdenum disulfide, molybdenum alkyldithiocarbamate and zinc dithiocarbamate.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lubricant molding slightly cracking or chipping at a low cost regardless of a production method. SOLUTION: The lubricant molding 3a is composed of at least two kinds of higher fatty acid metal salts having different numbers of carbons. The higher fatty acid metal salt contains at least one kind of a filler selected from preferably silica, alumina, tungsten disulfide, molybdenum disulfide, graphite fluoride, graphite, boron nitride, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene (ETFE) and polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF). The higher fatty acid metal salt is preferably composed of at least two kinds of higher fatty acid metal salts having different metal salts. The higher fatty acid metal salts may comprise resin foam pieces or resin foam blocks mixed therein. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
Abstract:
A grease composition for a constant velocity joint, characterised in that it contains from 0.05 to 30 percent by weight of sodium thiosulphate with respect to a base oil and urea-based thickener.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a urea-based grease which realizes low stabilized torque characteristics in a wide temperature range. SOLUTION: The urea-based grease comprises 5 to 15 wt.% (a) diurea compound being an alkyldiurea compound which has an average molecular weight of 600 to 700 and in which 25 to 60 mol% of all the alkyl groups are unsaturated and made from a primary amine having a total amine value in the range of 250 to 350, (b) a base oil which is a base oil comprising at least 80 wt.% synthetic hydrocarbon oil having a pour point of not higher than -40°C and has a kinematic viscosity of not higher than 6,000 mm 2 /sec at -40°C, and 1 to 7 wt.% (c) mixture containing an oil-soluble organomolybdenum complex, an oil-soluble organozinc compound of dithiocarbamic acid, an oil-soluble organozinc compound of dithiophosphoric acid, and an inorganic sulfur compound.
