Abstract:
A method and system for oxygen molecule scavenging is disclosed. The system employs as a novel copolymer as the reducing agent for oxygen molecules. The copolymer is the polymerization product of cyclic aliphatic monomer and unsaturated functional polymer.
Abstract:
A polyolefin-based composition made from or containing (A) a first polymer composition made from or containing a polyolefin grafted with an unsaturated monomer, (B) a second polymer composition made from or containing a polyethylene, and (C) a third polymer composition made from or containing (i) a first polyisobutylene and (ii) a second polyisobutylene. The first polyisobutylene has a Viscosity Average Molecular Weight (VAMW1), and the second polyisobutylene has a Viscosity Average Molecular Weight (VAMW2), wherein VAMW1≠VAMW2. The polyolefin-based composition is useful as an adhesives or a tie-layer adhesive composition for multi-layered structures. In particular, the composition is useful as an adhesive to bind a metal layer to a dissimilar substrate.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a polyvinyl chloride modifier, composition and a preparation method thereof. The composition comprises the following components by parts by weight: (a) polyvinyl chloride resin of 100 parts, and (b) a toughening modifier of 2-16 parts, the toughening modifier being rubber powder whose an elongation at break is greater than 2201% and which contains weight percentage of chlorine of 5-45 wt %. The elongation at break of the polyvinyl chloride composition of the present invention is greatly improved, and the defect of low elongations at break of polyvinyl chloride product is substantially solved accordingly, therefore, the application scope of polyvinyl chloride surely will be greatly widened.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a copolycarbonate and a composition comprising the same. The copolycarbonates according to the present invention has a structure in which a specific siloxane compound is introduced in a main chain of the polycarbonate, and has small difference between an impact strength at room temperature and an impact strength at low-temperature and thereby exhibits an excellent impact resistance.
Abstract:
Significant disadvantages of the use of polylactic acid (PLA), lack of good heat stability and flame retardance, have been overcome by the use of an aryl phosphate in combination with talc. The compound achieves a threshold of 65° C. in heat deflection temperature and V-0 flame retardance at 1.6 mm thickness.
