PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generating apparatus that stably links the output of an inverter apparatus with a commercial AC power source system during start-up. SOLUTION: A power generating apparatus includes: a linkage switch (S 1 ) for linking the output of an inverter apparatus (5) with a commercial AC power source system; a filter circuit (34) consisting of a reactor and a capacitor connected between the inverter apparatus (5) and the commercial AC power source system; a first voltage detector (32) for detecting output voltage of the inverter apparatus (5); an active filter (145), connected to the first voltage detector (32), which has simulated the characteristic of the filter circuit (34); a second voltage detector (33) for detecting full-wave rectification voltage of the commercial AC power source system side; and a system linkage control unit (118) that closes the linkage switch (S 1 ) when an output of the first voltage detector incorporated via the active filter and an output of the second voltage detector are in agreement. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brushless canned motor device where fluctuations and ripples of a rotor are less apt to occur and rotation of the rotor is less apt to step out. SOLUTION: The brushless canned motor device is provided with the rotor 10, having a plurality of permanent magnets 13, a stator 12 having a plurality of coils U1, U2, V1, V2, W1 and W2, a can 14 which is arranged between the rotor and the stator and stores the rotor; a plurality of first grooves 15 which are formed at an outer peripheral face of the rotor and extend along a rotation axis 3; a plurality of switching elements T1, T2, T3, T4, T5 and T6, which are electrically connected to a plurality of the coils; a switching control part 50 controlling opening/closing timing of a plurality of the switching elements; and a position detecting part 60 detecting a magnetic pole position of the rotor from back electromotive forces generated in the coils. A plurality of the first grooves are disposed at the magnetic pole centers of a plurality of the permanent magnets. The rotor is immersed in a liquid which is introduced inside the can. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter device having a three-phase line voltage control type inverter capable of eliminating an output circuit and a filter circuit for one phase, attaining cost reduction by simplifying a circuit structure, and stably supplying three-phase balanced voltage to a three-phase three line system load. SOLUTION: In this inverter device 10 having the three-phase line voltage control type inverter 15 of which a certain phase is grounded, there are provided a device 31 for setting three-phase target phase voltage Vo * on a load side, output voltage adjusting devices 32-35 which output inverter output phase voltage Vinv-u, Vinv-w as a pulse width modulating signal so as to become three-phase target phase voltage Vo * on the load side, a device 50 for converting the inverter output phase voltage to the line voltage in the line to the grounded phase, and a circuit 21 for driving the three-phase line voltage control type inverter. SOLUTION: This motor pump is provided with a pump impeller 2 arranged in a pump casing 1, a motor rotor 3 rotating as one unit with a pump impeller 2, a motor stator 4 arranged in a radial direction outside of the motor rotor 3, radial dynamic pressure bearings 9, 18 rotatably supporting the pump impeller 2 and the motor rotor 3, a first permanent magnet 13 arranged concentrically with the pump impeller 2, a second permanent magnet 14 arranged on the pump casing 1 to oppose to the first permanent magnet 13. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double-spindle synchronous motor which allows armatures to be arranged at suitable positions according to the number of poles of permanent magnets, and can provide sure synchronous rotation. SOLUTION: This double-spindle synchronous motor comprises: two pieces of rotors 2a, 2b which are arranged in parallel with each other; the permanent magnets 5a, 5b which are attached to external peripheral surfaces of the rotors 2a, 2b; and a plurality of the armatures 3 which are arranged at circumferences of the permanent magnets 5a, 5b with prescribed air gaps. The two pieces of rotors 2a, 2b are arranged so that the adjacent two permanent magnets among the permanent magnets form a magnetic coupling. The armatures 3 are aligned so that a line connecting their tips forms a substantially oval shape. M pieces (M=(N-2)×3/2) of the armatures with respect to the number of poles N (N=4 or larger even numbers) of the permanent magnets arranged at each rotor are arranged around each rotor at D degree (D=360/N×2/3) pitches. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting an abnormality in a pressure tank, which enables the accurate detection of the abnormality in the pressure tank, such as a decrease in sealing pressure, and a water supply system which has the function of detecting the abnormality in the pressure tank. SOLUTION: In the method for detecting the abnormality in the pressure tank, a pump stop time from the stop of a pump 14 of the water supply system 10 to the restart of the pump 14 is measured; the pump stop time is compared with a predetermined reference time; the result of this comparison is recorded as the result of the detection of the abnormality when the pump stop time is shorter than the reference time; and it is determined that the abnormality occurs in the pressure tank 36 when the result of the detection of the abnormality is recorded a plurality of times.
