SOLUTION: The electric reclining seat comprises a seat cushion 11, the seat back 12 set in such a state as can perform the reclining motion and sliding motion relative to the seat cushion, a reclining driving means for making the seat back reclining perform the reclining motion, a slide driving means to make the seat back perform the sliding motion, and a control means for controlling the reclining driving means and the slide driving means. The control means has a modifying means for modifying the pattern of the reclining angle/sliding position to the pattern suitable for the user based on the information when the user is seated on the seat cushion to operate the reclining seat according the standard pattern of the reclining angle/sliding position.
