PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adapter which can be stored in a storing vessel for portable electronic appliances by a removable method. SOLUTION: The adapter 1 and a portable electronic appliance storing the adapter 1 in its storing vessel are provided. The adapter 1 is detachably stored in the storing vessel of the electronic appliance, and has a base 10, a first connecting terminal 12, and a second connecting terminal 14. The first connecting terminal 12 is disposed in the base 10, and the second connecting terminal 14 is connected with the first connecting terminal 12 electrically. Moreover, the storing vessel is disposed on the surface of the portable electronic appliance, and stores the adapter 1. The second detection pin includes an elastic metal arm extending to the first detection pin and formed on its upper part.
