    Abstract: A method and system for a Wireless Resilient Routing Reconfiguration linear program or protocol (WR3LP). The WR3LP provides a routing protection scheme that is (i) congestion-free or reduced congestion under a wide range of failure scenarios in point-to-multipoint networks, (ii) efficient in terms of router processing overhead and memory requirement in wireless and point-to-multipoint networks, (iii) flexible in accommodating diverse performance requirements in wireless and point-to-multipoint networks (e.g., different traffic protection levels), and (iv) robust to traffic variations and topology failures in wireless and point-to-multipoint networks.

    Abstract: An apparatus having an analog-to-digital converter with an increased effective resolution is disclosed. The apparatus includes a signal processing functional block and an analog-to-digital conversion block. The signal processing functional block includes a controller for providing a set of digital control signals according to a set of digital input signals received by the controller, a digital-to-analog converter for converting the digital control signals to a set of corresponding analog control signals, and a physical hardware unit for performing a specific function according to the analog control signals. The analog-to-digital conversion block includes an adder for adding a dither signal to an analog feedback signal originated from the physical hardware unit, an ADC for converting sums of dither signals and analog feedback signals to a set of oversampled digital control signals to be fed into the controller.

    Abstract: A seeker includes a detection array having at least 2500 sensing pixels arranged in rows by row request lines and in columns by column request lines. At least one pixel includes an electromagnetic radiation sensor to trigger the pixel in response to sensing a triggering quantity of electromagnetic radiation, a row request circuit to send a row request after the pixel triggers, and a column request circuit to send a column request after the pixel triggers. The seeker further includes a row receiver to receive the row requests, a column receiver to receive the column requests, and a sequencer to receive, for each triggering pixel, the row of the row request and the column of the column request, and to generate an event including the received row and column of the pixel. The seeker also includes a time stamper to generate a time stamp for the generated event.

    Abstract: Techniques and architecture are disclosed for a system that includes a fuze at a leading end of a projectile body and a fuze setter configured to engage the fuze and to program the same prior to launch. The system, in one example, includes a plurality of electrical contact pads on an exterior surface of a fuze radome housing and a plurality of electrical contact pins on the fuze setter. The electrical contact pads are arranged in a rotationally symmetric pattern that enables an electrical interface to be formed with the electrical contact pins, regardless of the rotational orientation of the fuze. Commutation is performed to rotate signals to the electrical contact pins instead of requiring that the fuze be physically rotated to bring the electrical contact pads into alignment with the electrical contact pins.

    Abstract: Improved binocular vision system having a high resolution, uncompressed image in the forward facing direction and compressed images on the left and right side periphery. The binocular vision system utilizes a shared sensor between multiple optics to reduce the cost and weight of the device. The system maps multiple optics to portions of sensor arrays such that the compression on the periphery is in the azimuth only and thus more closely matches human vision.

    Abstract: Techniques are provided for a laser designation verification device and a method of laser designation verification using the device. The laser designation verification device includes: a lens to sense a first reflection, the first reflection coming from an encoded first laser beam reflecting off a first target; an electronic processing element to decode the sensed first reflection into a first code; and a portable electronic annunciator to provide identification of the first target to an operator of the device based on the decoded first reflection. The method includes: sensing a first reflection using the lens, the first reflection coming from an encoded first laser beam reflecting off a first target; decoding the sensed first reflection into a first code using the processing element; and providing, by the annunciator to an operator of the device, identification of the first target based on the decoded first reflection.
