Abstract: The invention concerns regenerative repeaters for pulses. The method consists of detecting errors, coding them and recording them in a channel of a tele-locating frame. Each regenerative repeater of a connection has a channel which is attributed to it, for example channel i, for the repeater whose order is i. The device implementing the method comprises means for directing the tele-locating signals at the input of the repeater, memorizing them and applying them to a low-frequency modulator which reinjects them into a directing means at the output of the repeater; it comprises also means for detecting the channel whose order is i and recording therein the coded proportion of error of the repeater.

Abstract: A millimetric wave high-pass filter is assembled from two axially-separate halves. Each half comprises a cast metal body having a channel which is divided to form two wave guides by means of a metal strip. The dimensions of the wave guides of the filter as a whole decrease towards a constriction at their centers while the strip is relatively thick at the constriction and tapers towards the ends. This configuration makes it possible to cast the filter in two halves with the body and the strip of each half being cast in a single piece. When assembled the halves meet at the level of the constriction.

Abstract: The invention comes within the branch of digital data transmission on a telephone line having four wires comprising echo suppressors. In order to be able to neutralize these suppressors during a simultaneous bilateral data transmission, a neutralization signal is developed in a purely digital device basically using a PCM coder, counting the changes in sign of the line signal. The use of digital filters to identify the characteristic frequency preceding the transmission is thus avoided.
