Abstract:
Connector provided with at least two adjacent cavities (5, 6) to accommodate terminals (14), the connector having a selectively metallized plastic structure in order to at least partly shield at least one cavity from the other cavities wherein said connector has at least partly the following housing structure between each shielded cavity and its adjacent cavities: a first insulating plastic wall - at least one metal layer - a second insulating plastic wall, said at least one metal layer being provided as a coating on said first and/or said second plastic walls.
Abstract:
An electrical connector (10) comprises a housing (14) having latch members (143) at both ends and a pair of metal fasteners (16) detachably clamped on the latch members (143). The housing has a longitudinal groove (141) for receiving a daughter board. The metal fastener (16) includes a fixing section (161) and a spring section (162) which substantially extends uprightly therefrom. The fixing section (161) clamps on the housing (10). The spring section (162) is provided with a restriction leg (1621) to prevent over-stressing and a slot (1622) which are formed by punching. The restriction leg (1621) is substantially vertical to the surface of the spring section (162). When the metal fastener (16) clamps on the housing (10), a rib (1432) provided on the latch member (143) fits the slot (1622) of the spring section (162) so as to prevent the side shifting and rotation of the metal fastener (16).
Abstract:
Abstract:
A contact element having a cutting section for insulation displacement connection of an insulated electrical conductor. The contact element being folded from a flat sheet of electrical conducting material, having a generally rectangular part which bears a lip projecting from one of its sides provided with a cutting slit in the end face and an angular piece having a part connected to said rectangular part and extending essentially parallel to said lip, and having a part which is at right angles thereto and faces away from said lip. The last mentioned part being provided with a further cutting slit in the end face. By appropriate folding of said flat sheet, a contact element being provided having a cutting section for side-piercing of an electrical conductor
